Scott Jennings Torches Biden Admin After Hunter Pardon: ‘There Has Never Been A Bigger Set Of Liars’

CNN Republican commentator Scott Jennings absolutely tore into the current administration over the Sunday evening announcement that President Joe Biden had issued a sweeping pardon covering his embattled son Hunter for any and all federal crimes he may have committed over an 11-year period.

Jennings’ criticism was primarily focused on the fact that President Biden — along with multiple people within his administration — had repeatedly and categorically denied that he would ever pardon Hunter. He also noted that Hunter’s pardon was not the only thing Biden and many others within the administration had lied about.

Jennings responded to Daily Signal columnist Tony Kennett, who posted a list of falsehoods that came out of the Biden administration over the last several years: “It’s transitory inflation”; “Afghanistan was a success”; “The border is secure”; “Robert Hur lied. Biden is fine”; “Those videos are cheapfakes”; “Biden had jetlag”; “Biden had a cold”; “Biden isn’t going to be replaced”; “Biden isn’t going to pardon Hunter.”

Jennings’ response was simple: “There has never been a bigger set of liars in this office than the Bidens. Not even close. The entire term. One after another. Over and over and over. And not on small petty stuff, either.”

The Republican commentator also made his opinion abundantly clear during a CNN segment responding to the surprise pardon.

“Joe Biden is leaving office making the strongest possible case for Donald Trump that anybody could possibly make it and that’s why our government and our justice system is of, by and for the elites and nobody else,” Jennings said. “He ran to banish Trumpism from our political system in this country, and he has left it politically and now institutionally, the strongest possible political force in this country. It is a complete and utter failure by the head of the Democratic Party and the President of the United States.”

Jennings went on to say that President-elect Donald Trump’s critics — many of whom have accused him of using political office for personal benefit as well as lying to the people — no longer had any ground from which to protest.

“Never again do I want to hear, ‘Oh, Donald Trump’s a liar. You can’t believe anything he says. Donald Trump will abuse his power Donald Trump will only use the system to benefit himself and his family, and so on and so forth.’ Never again,” he said.

Turning to fellow panelist Karen Finney, he added, “I have one question for Karen and that is why did he need an 11-year blanket pardon going back to 2014, when Joe Biden was the Vice President? We are sitting on the biggest cover-up of who knows what crimes and Joe Biden amazingly knows exactly, roughly when it started. He knows just about when it all started. He’s leaving office in complete and total disgrace. He is a liar and there is no other way to spin this today. This has nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the character of Joe Biden.”
