The governor board president of the Scottsdale Unified School District in Arizona has been discovered to have had access to a Google Drive containing the personal information, documents, and photos of about 47 people, including children.
Mark Greenburg, the father of Governing Board President Jann-Michael Greenburg, is listed as the Google Drive owner, according to Independent Newsmedia, which stated, “The Google Drive shows these people linked to the account: Mark Greenburg is owner of the Google Drive; Jann-Michael Greenburg; A person email address belonging to SUSD governing board member Zachary Lindsay; A Scottsdale woman whom the Independent has not yet verified.”
AZ Free News added, “Even though Mark Greenburg is listed as the Google Drive owner, records from an Aug. 17 special SUSD board meeting show Jann-Michael admitted sharing a computer with Mark.”
“The sprawling drive contains folders with names including ‘SUSD Wackos,’ ‘Press Conference Psychos’ and ‘Anti Mask Lunatics,’” The Daily Mail, which perused the contents of the drive, reported. “It contains a disorganized collection of hundreds of screenshots of Facebook posts and conversations in Facebook groups dedicated to the Scottsdale school system, with the apparent theme of tracking the political sentiments of various parents. Some of the files include memes mocking certain parents, PTA leaders and local elected officials. Disturbingly, the drive also contains a background report that appears to have been generated by a private investigator, which includes personal details such as financial and criminal records of parents.”
Jann-Michael Greenburg insisted he had nothing to do with the dossier, telling Independent Newsmedia, “I categorically deny having anything to do with any of this. If you are going to claim in a story right now, that I had anything to do with this, I would argue that crosses the line. We are going to have forensic IT staff look into this and figure out what that is. You can file with law enforcement; I am not sure even why we are looking at these photos.”
He added, “I am not my father’s keeper … I have been sent screenshots on what is done on CAN. I have been sent videos, and, yes, from parents, including my own father. Yes, people send me emails and text messages, but I don’t store them and I don’t know who stores them if that is what you are asking.”
Bodycam videos within the Google files include a video of Mark Greenburg speaking with parents in the parking lot of a school, declaring, “Somewhere around here, we have a private investigator, who’s writing down all their plates.” One woman says to him, “That you’ve hired?” He responds, “Yeah, I did. Yeah. I had our law firm do it so that it’s protected. So that we can get the information.”

Amy Carney, a mother of six who is running for a seat on the governing board, stated, “I am calling for the immediate resignation of our board president Jann-Michael Greenburg. We cannot allow anyone in a leadership position to secretly compile personal documents and information on moms and dads who have dared speak out publicly or on social media about their grievances with the district.”
