<p>Wendy Rittenhouse on Thursday night opened up about her son Kyle&#8217;s homicide trial and detailed how the teen has been doing since the night he fatally shot two rioters and injured a third in what he says was self-defense to protect his own life.</p>
<p>Reacting to video she had to watch during the trial, Wendy told Fox News&#8217; Sean Hannity that she thought her son &#8220;was going to die&#8221; if he had not acted.</p>
<p>&#8220;I see this man trying to kick my son in the face,&#8221; she <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/wendy-rittenhouse-slams-joe-biden-defaming-kyle-rittenhouse-hannity">recalled</a>, Fox News reported. &#8220;When I look at the video with that guy pointing a gun to my son&#8217;s head, I thought, he was going to die.&#8221;</p>
<p>Wendy also said her son &#8220;has a lot of healing to do&#8221; and still experiences &#8220;nightmares.&#8221;</p>
<p>Notably, when Kyle Rittenhouse took the stand on Wednesday to recall the moments leading to the fatal shooting of Joseph Rosenbaum on August 25, 2020, the teen broke into sobs and a brief break in the courtroom had to be called.</p>
<p>Detailing the event to his defense lawyer, Rittenhouse recalled Rosenbaum yelling “burn in hell” to him before Rittenhouse yelled “friendly, friendly, friendly!” in an attempt to calm Rosenbaum. The teen was chased anyway.</p>
<p>Rittenhouse then described feeling “trapped” by Rosenbaum and another man, identified during the trial as Joshua Ziminski, who fired his pistol in the air. Rittenhouse said Ziminski had the pistol pointed at him during the incident.</p>
<p>Before describing his actions to fire on Rosenbaum, who lunged for the teen&#8217;s gun, according to witness testimony, Rittenhouse sobbed and a ten-minute recess was called.</p>
<p>Wendy also expressed anger toward President Joe Biden for implying her son was a white supremacist in a digital ad he posted to Twitter as a presidential candidate, last year.</p>
<p class="speakable">&#8220;When I saw that I was shocked, I was angry. President Biden don&#8217;t [sic] know my son whatsoever, and he&#8217;s not a white supremacist. He&#8217;s not a racist. And [Biden] did that for the votes,&#8221; Wendy slammed.</p>
<p class="speakable">&#8220;And I was so angry for a while at him and what he did to my son, he defamed him.&#8221;</p>
<p>On Tuesday night, David Hancock, a spokesman for Kyle Rittenhouse, similarly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/rittenhouse-spokesman-slams-biden-for-ad-implying-teen-a-white-supremacist">slammed</a> President Biden over the ad.</p>
<p>“Don’t forget, the candidate for the U.S. presidency himself last year prior to the election called Kyle Rittenhouse a white supremacist,” Hancock <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/media/kyle-rittenhouse-spokesperson-john-hancock-blasts-joe-biden-media-coverage-trial">told</a> Fox News host Laura Ingraham. “Joe Biden called him a white supremacist; that is appalling. I can’t even gauge how wrong that is.”</p>
<p>Before the appearance ended, Wendy told Hannity that she believes Judge Bruce Schroeder is &#8220;very fair.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The judge is very fair,&#8221; she said. &#8220;The people that I talked to that lived in Kenosha all their lives. They told me that Judge Schroeder is a very fair judge and he doesn&#8217;t allow no nonsense [sic] in his courtroom.&#8221;</p>
