Former collegiate swimmer Riley Gaines announced on Saturday that she and her husband Louis Barker were expecting their first child — a girl — due in September.
Gaines shared a photo of herself standing with Barker and one of her horses as she held up an ultrasound photo of the baby. &#8220;Surprise! Baby GIRL coming in September,&#8221; she posted, adding several baby-themed emojis. &#8220;God is so good all the time.&#8221;

President Donald Trump told ABC News on Sunday that the United States might not stay on the sidelines if the conflict between Israel and Iran continues or even escalates.
Trump spoke with ABC&#8217;s Rachel Scott about the ongoing hostilities between the two Middle Eastern nations, and he made it clear that while the had been no U.S. involvement thus far, he was not ruling out the possibility that there could be at some point.

ABC News published highlights from the interview on Sunday, noting that Trump had also signaled openness to Russian President Vladimir Putin serving as a mediator in negotiations.
When asked whether Iran had been given a deadline regarding when they must be at the table to negotiate, Trump said there was none. &#8220;No, there&#8217;s no deadline. But they are talking. They&#8217;d like to make a deal. They&#8217;re talking. They continue to talk. Something like this had to happen because I think even from both sides, but something like this had to happen. They want to talk, and they will be talking &#8230; May have forced a deal to go quicker, actually.&#8221;
&#8220;We&#8217;re not involved in it,&#8221; he said of the ongoing conflict. &#8220;It&#8217;s possible we could get involved. But we are not at this moment involved.&#8221;
The president then said that Putin had pitched the idea that he could serve as a moderator between Israel and Iran, and Trump said the idea was at least worth considering.
&#8220;I would be open to it. He is ready. He called me about it. We had a long talk about it,&#8221; Trump said. &#8220;We talked about this more than his situation. This is something I believe is going to get resolved.&#8221;
Trump reported a day earlier that <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/trump-reports-on-birthday-call-from-russias-putin-says-ukraine-talks-will-continue-next-week">Putin had called</a> to wish him a happy birthday on Saturday, but that they had also spoken at length about Israel and Iran at the time.

‘We Could Get Involved’: Trump Leaves Door Open For U.S. Entering Iran-Israel Conflict

President Donald Trump issued a statement on Sunday morning calling for Iran and Israel to &#8220;make a deal&#8221; that would put an end to the hostilities between the two Middle eastern nations. Both the United States and Israel have been adamant that any such deal cannot include an Iran that continues to pursue nuclear capabilities.
Trump issued the statement — in which he said such a deal could &#8220;MAKE THE MIDDLE EAST GREAT AGAIN&#8221; — in a post to his Truth Social platform.

&#8220;Iran and Israel should make a deal, and will make a deal, just like I got India and Pakistan to make, in that case by using TRADE with the United States to bring reason, cohesion, and sanity into the talks with two excellent leaders who were able to quickly make a decision and STOP!&#8221; Trump began, referencing the recent exchange of missile fire between Pakistan and India.
&#8220;Also, during my first term, Serbia and Kosovo were going at it hot and heavy, as they have for many decades, and this long time conflict was ready to break out into WAR,&#8221; Trump continued, before taking a jab at former President Joe Biden&#8217;s administration. &#8220;I stopped it (Biden has hurt the longer term prospects with some very stupid decisions, but I will fix it, again!).&#8221;
Trump went on to mention tensions between Egypt and Ethiopia and his administration&#8217;s efforts to keep those tensions from escalating into greater conflict. &#8220;Another case is Egypt and Ethiopia, and their fight over a massive dam that is having an effect on the magnificent Nile River. There is peace, at least for now, because of my intervention, and it will stay that way!&#8221;
Likewise, we will have PEACE, soon, between Israel and Iran!&#8221; the president pivoted back to the issue at hand. &#8220;Many calls and meetings now taking place. I do a lot, and never get credit for anything, but that’s OK, the PEOPLE understand. MAKE THE MIDDLE EAST GREAT AGAIN!&#8221;

‘We Will Have PEACE’: Trump Issues Statement On Iran And Israel Amid Hostilities

As President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth — along with others in the administration — joined together to celebrate the U.S. Army&#8217;s <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/fetterman-comes-out-as-pro-parade-as-trump-celebrates-armys-250th-birthday">250th birthday</a> on Saturday, several at MSNBC appeared to struggle with the fact that the overall vibe on the ground was less fraught and more fun.
Host Chris Hayes compared the scene to typical Trump rallies — which he claimed could be &#8220;very tense&#8221; and sometimes had a &#8220;dark, malevolent energy&#8221; — and then seemed genuinely surprised to note that the scene playing out at the National Mall had a very different feel.

Not always, but it doesn&#8217;t seem like that&#8217;s the energy on the Mall today, which I think is a good sign, right?&#8221;

&#8220;This is a very different mood here,&#8221; Velshi continued. &#8220;People seem to be going out of their way to say that they&#8217;re here to celebrate the Army&#8217;s 250th birthday.&#8221;
He said he&#8217;d seen one guy carrying a sign that said, &#8220;TRUMP 2028,&#8221; but that most people were not bringing politics into the celebration.
&#8220;It&#8217;s not dark. It&#8217;s not tense,&#8221; he said. &#8220;It&#8217;s different.&#8221;

Longtime Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw added a subtle change to his Pride Night cap, printing &#8220;GEN 9:12-16&#8221; next to the rainbow-colored team logo.
Leading Report (@leadingreport) shared the news via X along with a photo of Kershaw&#8217;s cap and the text of the verses the pitcher was referencing — verses that reference God&#8217;s promise to Noah, when He sent the rainbow as a sign that He would never again destroy the earth with a flood.

Kershaw, a Christian, also <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/sports/dodgers-clayton-kershaw-displays-bible-passage-hat-during-pride-night">spoke out</a> in 2023 when the team planned to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence — a group of &#8220;queer and trans nuns&#8221; who combine drag and religious imagery — by announcing the team&#8217;s faith and family night early.
&#8220;I think we were always going to do Christian Faith Day this year, but I think the timing of our announcement was sped up,&#8221; Kershaw said. &#8220;Picking a date and doing those different things was part of it as well. Yes, it was in response to the highlighting of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence [by the Dodgers].&#8221;
Kershaw said at the time that his objection was specifically to the Sisters and that he did not plan to boycott Pride Night, &#8220;I don’t agree with making fun of other people’s religions. It has nothing to do with anything other than that. I just don’t think that, no matter what religion you are, you should make fun of somebody else’s religion. So, that’s something that I definitely don’t agree with.&#8221;

Dodgers Ace Clayton Kershaw Adds Bible Reference To Rainbow Hat For Pride Night

Masked protesters have reportedly attempted to surround a Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field office in Seattle, carrying shields and waiting outside while ICE agents and a number of detained illegal aliens remain inside.
&#8220;This is the current scene outside the ICE Seattle field office. Antifa militants have surrounded the building with blockades. Several illegal migrants are detained inside and anti-ICE activists are attempting to prevent ICE agents from transporting them out of the facility,&#8221; The Post Millennial&#8217;s Katie Daviscourt posted, sharing video that showed protesters — some of whom wore keffiyehs in addition to their face masks — using &#8220;No Parking&#8221; signs to set up a perimeter around the building.

ICE used the ensuing confusion to move several vehicles carrying the detained illegal aliens out of the building, much to the obvious dismay of the protesters.

As Daviscourt reported a short time later, protesters put the blockade back up after police took it down. &#8220;Update — Immediately after DHS and local police dismantled the blockades outside the ICE Seattle field office, anti-ICE Antifa militants put them back up.&#8221;
