On Wednesday, President Donald Trump’s envoy for special missions Ric Grenell condemned Broadway star Patti LuPone for giving &#8220;comfort to the crazies&#8221; with recent anti-Trump comments.
The New Yorker earlier this week published an <a href="https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2025/06/02/patti-lupone-profile">interview</a> in which the &#8220;Evita&#8221; star said that the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts “should get blown up&#8221; now that Trump and Grenell have taken over.
“We should have every Democrat, every left-leaning person condemning what she said,” Grenell <a href="https://www.newsmax.com/newsmax-tv/patti-lupone-richard-grenell-kennedy-center/2025/05/28/id/1212738/">told</a> Newsmax on Wednesday.
“Do I actually believe Patti Lupone is going to build a bomb and throw it inside the Kennedy Center? No, I don&#8217;t believe that. However, she is giving aid and comfort to the crazies.”
He then warned of the potentially dangerous influence the actress’ remarks could have.

LuPone has been an outspoken critic of Trump over the years. In 2017, she claimed she would never perform for him because she “hates the mother****er.”

Along with firing the Kennedy Center’s president and chairman of the board upon his entrance in office, Trump expelled other board members who were appointed by the Biden administration. A shocking poll <a href="https://www.standard.co.uk/news/crime/women-safety-london-streets-shock-poll-itv-sadiq-khan-sarah-everard-met-police-b1234774.html">found</a> that over half of London women do not feel safe in the capital city.
ITV News London <a href="https://www.itv.com/news/london/2025-06-24/hold-us-to-account-over-target-to-reduce-violence-against-women-and-girls">conducted</a> the Survation poll of 1,528 women and discovered that 57% of respondents do not feel safe on the city streets. Only 32% said they do. Nearly half said they have been followed or verbally harassed by a man, while a third said they’ve experienced physical or sexual assault, some more than once.
The issue of women’s safety in London has gained traction over the last few years, especially after the murders of Sarah Everard and Zara Aleena, as well as sisters Nicole Smallman and Bibaa Henry.
Mayor Sadiq Khan, who is Muslim, <a href="https://www.itv.com/news/london/2025-06-24/hold-us-to-account-over-target-to-reduce-violence-against-women-and-girls">told</a> ITV News London that every three days, a woman in London is killed at the hands of a man.
“Across the globe it is every 10 minutes,” he said. “We&#8217;re doing our bit from City Hall, but we can&#8217;t do it ourselves. That&#8217;s why we are working really closely with the police, with the courts, with the CPS, with the judiciary, but also schools. It&#8217;s got to start from primary school.”
Despite the government committing to halving violence against women within the next decade, 58% of poll respondents said they do not believe the mayor is doing enough on the issue, with only 26% saying better education for young boys would help. 51% said increasing the number of law enforcement officers would make them feel safer. 
Jess Phillips, the Minister for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls, <a href="https://www.itv.com/news/london/2025-06-24/hold-us-to-account-over-target-to-reduce-violence-against-women-and-girls">said</a> the poll figures “saddened” her.
“Every woman I know has been harassed at some point in their life,” she stated.
When asked whether London has become more or less safe over the previous five years, 49% said it has become less safe while only 21% said it has become more safe.
Ben Russel, the Met’s deputy assistant commissioner, said that the volume of violence against women and girls is the real challenge.
“We are receiving thousands and thousands of reports every year. … We know we have got more to do to get to where we want to be. But it&#8217;s something that is important and we all recognise that,” he said.

Shocking Number Of Women ‘Feel Unsafe’ In One Of The World’s Largest Cities

Joe Rogan brutally corrected Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) over a claim he made about climate change on Tuesday, using data to show the globe is not experiencing a heat spell.  
Sanders, who <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYVzme2fybU">appeared</a> on Rogan’s podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, claimed that climate change “ain’t a hoax” and that sourcing energy from more natural resources will create millions of jobs. 
“I think the last ten years have been the warmest on record,” Sanders said. “We can create millions of good-paying jobs by transforming our energy system away from fossil fuel to energy efficiency, to solar, to wind, and to other sustainable energies.”
“First of all,” Rogan replied, “the reality is that the earth’s temperature has never been static, right? We can both agree on that. It’s always been up and down. There’s been ice ages and heat waves. And then, The Washington Post looked at it. … Essentially, they found that we’re in a cooling period.”
Rogan then brought up The Washington Post <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/climate-environment/2024/09/19/earth-temperature-global-warming-planet/">article</a> that directly contradicted Sanders’ claim that the last ten years have been the hottest ever recorded.
“This was, like, a very inconvenient discovery,” Rogan said as Sanders remained silent. “But they had to report the data, and kudos to them for doing that.”
The report claims that the hottest temperature Earth has ever reached is an average of 96.8 degrees Fahrenheit. According to the study, this happened nearly 100 million years ago and is far hotter than the 58.86 degrees average the planet hit in 2023.
“Well, I’m not sure,” Sanders responded. “I didn’t read that article, but — but the scientists who are out there — I think —”
“I know,” Rogan interrupted. “But there’s a lot of money involved in that, too, Bernie. That’s part of the problem. There’s a lot of money involved in this, this whole climate change emergency issue. And there’s a lot of control.”
Sanders pivoted from arguing that the earth is experiencing a heat spell but doubled down on the claim that climate change is a “global issue,” especially when it comes to China’s carbon footprint. 
“All I can tell you is that we are, in my view, going to see more extreme weather disturbances in the coming years than we have ever,” he said. “We’re seeing them right now.”
Sanders did not offer any examples of these supposed disturbances.

Joe Rogan Brutally Corrects Bernie Sanders On Climate Change

At around 11 p.m. on Wednesday, SpaceX’s Starship exploded as it prepared for its tenth flight test at SpaceX’s Starbase in southern Texas. 
In an X post on Wednesday, SpaceX attributed the event to a “major anomaly” and said that their “team is actively working to safe the test site and the immediate surrounding area in conjunction with local officials.” No one was injured in the massive explosion, according to SpaceX.

According to the livestream video of the incident, the rocket experienced at least two explosions, one after the other, before debris rained down on the surrounding area. SpaceX <a href="https://x.com/SpaceX/status/1935572705941880971">reassured</a> that there were no casualties and residents in the nearby communities will not experience any hazards. 
Tech-titan and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk weighed in on X, where he joked that the explosion was “just a scratch.”

The Starship rocket system is essential to Musk’s ambition to put humans on Mars and this event is only the latest in a series of setbacks.
In May, the Starship spun out of control halfway through its flight without accomplishing some of its testing goals. Two months before that, the rocket exploded in space just minutes after lifting off from Texas. 
Of this latest failure, Musk said that “preliminary data suggests that a nitrogen COPV in the payload bay failed below its proof pressure. If further investigation confirms that this is what happened, it is the first time ever for this design.”

SpaceX Starship Explodes At Launch Site – On Camera

Actor and former governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger slammed the violent mobs rioting across the U.S. during his Thursday appearance on “The View,” criticizing illegal aliens for not acting as “guests.”
Joy Behar, one of the hosts of “The View,” attempted to bait the “Terminator” star by asking him if he had a “visceral reaction” to the ICE raids happening throughout the country, as he is an immigrant himself.

“I am so proud and happy that I was embraced by the American people,” Schwarzenegger replied.
“Every single thing — if it’s my bodybuilding career, if it’s my acting career, becoming governor, the beautiful family that I’ve created — all of this is because of America. And so this is why I’m so, so happy [to] see first hand that this is the greatest country in the world and it is the land of opportunity.”
Schwarzenegger then announced that he will deliver a speech at Mount Vernon to celebrate the 250th birthday of America, where some immigrants will be sworn in as U.S. citizens, and that he is excited to celebrate the benefits of immigration.
“The key thing also is, at the same time, that you’ve got to do things [legally],” he clarified. “That is the important thing. Those people that are doing illegal things in America — and they’re the foreigners — they are not smart.”
As he spoke, multiple hosts attempted to interrupt him, with Sunny Hostin even placing her hand on Schwarzenegger’s arm as though she wanted him to stop speaking.
“When you come to America, you’re a guest and you have to behave like a guest,” Schwarzenegger stated. “Like, when I go to someone’s house and I’m a guest, I will do everything I can to keep things clean and to make my bed and to do everything that is the right thing to do rather than committing a crime or being abusive or something like that.”
Schwarzenegger has criticized the Trump administration and previously endorsed Kamala Harris’ presidential run, remaining one of the few Republicans to oppose Donald Trump. However, his rhetoric on “The View” conflicts with mainstream leftist views on the immigration crisis.
“The important thing is, when you become an immigrant, to think about — okay, I go to America because I want to use America for the great opportunities that America has in education, in jobs, [and in] creating a family. … Then you have to think about — okay, if I get all of those things from America, then I have to give something back. You have a responsibility as an immigrant to give back to America and to pay back America and to go and do something for your community for no money whatsoever. … Make this country a better place.” 
The hosts attempted to interrupt, but could not be heard after the audience erupted into applause.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Slams Anti-ICE Rioters: ‘They Are Not Smart’

On a 2017 visit to Denver, Lisa and Dave Buddecke had their first meal in a food hall. They left marveling at the experience, which was foreign to their community in Twin Falls, Idaho, and dreaming about how one would be received.
Their dreams were made a reality when they realized that an old building that was smack dab in the middle of an Opportunity Zone, making it eligible for a policy created in the 2017 tax policy passed by Republicans in President Donald Trump’s first year in office. At the time, the concept was foreign to her, but while she was researching the policy, she pulled up a map of Twin Falls and discovered that the old Salvation Army building she and Dave were considering buying was in the middle of an Opportunity Zone.
Soon, “2nd South Market” was open for business.
The Buddecke family’s creation is showcased in the <a href="https://www.iwfeatures.com/documentary/how-tax-cuts-turned-a-forgotten-building-into-a-beacon-of-economic-opportunity/">latest documentary</a> from IW Features, which argues that the tax law is to thank for revitalizing this building and supercharging the local economy.
“Opportunity Zones allow investors to defer capital gains taxes by reinvesting in designated low-income areas.” IW Features wrote along with the latest episode of Earn More, Pay Less: How America Grew Under the Trump Tax Cuts. “But the best benefits only kick in if you genuinely commit to the community: the longer you stay, the bigger the benefits. By year 10 of an Opportunity Zone investment, capital gains taxes drop to zero.”

When they bought the building, which was first built in 1926, the Buddecke’s decided to lean into its age-old history by reusing wood and turning historical findings into decorations. Soon, “2nd South Market” was open for business.
The Buddeckes did not want to sign on larger names, instead opting to celebrate local businesses and provide opportunities for their community. One of the vendors, called Fuji Express, is run by a Burmese immigrant named Chan Chan, who was able to buy his first home in the United States as a result of the food hall.
“Our goal was to have a different vendor that would bring a different concept to the food hall,” Buddecke said. “So, having a barbeque, having pizza, having coffee, having dessert, having Asian food, and then a bar.”
“These businesses, like Fuji Express, he doesn&#8217;t have to go out and buy his own building,” Buddecke told IW Features. “He doesn&#8217;t have to pay all the brick and mortar to run his own place. He wouldn&#8217;t have been able to do that from a cost standpoint.”
Thanks to President Trump’s 2017 legislation — which, in addition to Opportunity Zones, provided tax cuts, expanded the standard deduction, and doubled the child tax credit — the Buddecke’s were able to offer these opportunities for their local vendors.
The documentary’s Monday release is strategically timed to the fight over Trump’s signature “One Big, Beautiful Bill Act.” It would enshirine the provisions of the 2017 legislation that are set to expire in 2026, including Opportunity Zones.
Buddecke says the passage of the Bill would greatly benefit individuals and small businesses, as the 2017 legislation has already caused over $100 billion to be invested in Opportunity Zones nationwide.
“The fact that we can hire local business folks so that they can grow their business, they can hire people, they can add more to the success of their family — that’s really our greatest joy,” Buddecke said.

How Idaho’s Hottest Food Hall Was Born Out Of Trump Tax Cuts

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) stumped Governor Tim Walz (D-MN) at Thursday’s House Oversight Committee hearing when she asked him if he knows what a woman is.
The question came after a short discussion about whether or not Walz had ever been to Tiananmen Square, a plaza in Beijing where protestors were massacred in 1989. After Walz confirmed he’d once been to the Square, Mace asked for the year he was there.
“As I recall, January of 1990,” Walz replied.
“Okay. What is a woman?” Mace suddenly asked.

Walz appeared taken aback and only answered after Mace repeated the question.
“I’m not sure I understand the question here,” he replied.
The question posed by Mace has regularly stumped Democrats and was asked by Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) to Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson in 2022. At that time, Jackson replied that she could not provide a definition for the word &#8220;woman&#8221; because she&#8217;s &#8220;not a biologist.&#8221; Daily Wire podcast host Matt Walsh later released a documentary titled &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/what-is-a-woman?row=0&amp;elementPosition=2&amp;rowType=Square+Show+Carousel" target="_blank" rel="noopener">What is a Woman?</a>,&#8221; which sought to answer the obvious question and expose the dark roots of gender ideology.
Walz came under scrutiny after Kamala Harris chose him as her presidential running mate for a Minnesota <a href="https://www.revisor.mn.gov/bills/text.php?number=HF2497&amp;session_year=2023&amp;session_number=0&amp;version=latest#:~:text=ACCESS%20TO%20MENSTRUAL%20PRODUCTS.">law</a> requiring schools to provide free tampons to “all menstruating students.” The law did not distinguish between girls and boys, earning Walz the nickname “Tampon Tim.”
After Walz refused to answer Mace’s question, he asked, “What would you like me to say?”

Mace raised her voice and replied that she wanted him to say a woman is an “adult human female.”
“Men can’t become women!” she stated. “You guys are the party of violence and you’re the party erasing women. You don’t respect us! You’re a bigot, you’re a misogynist, you’re a sexist.”
She then turned to the chairman and yielded the floor.
Before this, Mace fired off multiple other questions, including one in which she asked whether or not Walz is “still friends with school shooters,” seemingly in an attempt to expose his ineptitude.
