President Joe Biden&#8217;s embattled son Hunter Biden made a surprise appearance on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, leading to a raucous scene as reporters tried to shout questions at him — including one intrepid reporter, who asked &#8220;what kind of crack&#8221; he preferred.
The younger Biden crashed a House Oversight Committee hearing — while members met to discuss a contempt citation against him for defying an earlier subpoena — and as he attempted to exit the building afterward, reporters swarmed him and shouted their questions in the hopes that they&#8217;d be acknowledged.

Hunter&#8217;s attorney Abbe Lowell attempted to quiet the crowd, promising that he would answer questions if they would just calm down and allow him to make a statement on behalf of his client.
No sooner had he made that request than one reporter shouted, &#8220;What kind of crack do you normally smoke, Mr. Biden?&#8221;
Biden was also asked, according to Real Clear Investigations reporter Paul Sperry, whether he was high right then.

In another video clip posted to X, a reporter could be heard asking, &#8220;What&#8217;s your favorite type of crack?&#8221; and then, &#8220;Are you on crack today?&#8221;

The hearing itself was equally contentious, with <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hunter-biden-makes-surprise-appearance-while-lawmakers-meet-on-holding-him-in-contempt" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Rep. Nancy Mace</a> (R-N.C.) asking who had &#8220;bribed&#8221; the president&#8217;s son to show up to the hearing — and then arguing with his attorney, who tried to talk over her.
