CNN has exposed itself as a left-wing propaganda network since the election of President Trump, as evidenced by one of their reporters threatening to doxx the creator of a gif and the obnoxious ramblings of alleged journalist Jim Acosta. Adding to the evidence of CNN’s bias is a new report highlighting how little coverage they’ve provided of the trial of Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) compared to that of former Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK) in 2008.
Let’s compare the nature of the trials between Stevens and Menendez. Stevens was on trial in 2008 over allegations of concealing “that he had not paid full value for renovations to his modest Alaska cabin,” per a Roll Call editorial. Not only were the allegations against him false, the prosecutors were later found to have “concealed compelling evidence from the defense” that would have helped Stevens. The late senator’s name was cleared, but not before he lost his seat in the 2008 election.
