Fans were irate when rapper Lil Baby canceled his concert without warning, and now they’re bound to be more annoyed to see he was partying in the club before the show was called off.

The 27-year-old musical artist, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, was seen having fun at Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas along with Travis Scott, DJ Drama, and a few other famous faces, TMZ reported. They took photos of Lil Baby around 3 a.m., less than 24 hours before he was scheduled to headline Breakout Festival in Vancouver.

But the rapper never made it to his Canadian concert. At the time, Lil Baby blamed the cancellation on being exhausted from a recent tour with Chris Brown.

“I have been going so hard these past few months without any breaks that it finally caught up with me,” he shared with more than 20 million Instagram followers.

Fans were not happy with this excuse even before TMZ shared the photos of Lil Baby partying in Vegas. When they found out the rapper was skipping the concert, a riot broke out at Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) grounds, CBC News in Canada reported. Seven individuals were arrested due to violence, and hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of property was destroyed in the chaos.

Furious concert attendees were spotted tearing down tents, throwing garbage cans, and invading the venue’s beer garden. Some people flipped over refrigerators and broke concession tables. Television monitors also got destroyed.

The publication noted that hundreds of attendees had traveled from various locations to attend the two-day festival, with some spending up to $350 for a ticket.

“Approximately 1,000 of the guests turned their disappointment into a violent outburst that resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage to PNE property inside the Amphitheatre and in Hastings Park,” the venue said.

“It is our understanding that there was additional damage to property outside of Hastings Park, in the community and to local businesses. For this, we are incredibly sorry to our neighbors.”

“Though no major injuries have been reported, there are likely thousands of dollars in property damage,” the statement from local police noted.

Lil Baby is gearing up to release his third studio album, “It’s Only Me,” on October 14, which will be the official follow-up to his 2020 sophomore album, “My Turn.”

Ahead of the release, the rapper has released singles “Right On,” “In A Minute,” “Frozen,” and “Detox,” plus had cameos with big-name rappers including Future, Vince Staples, NAV, and DJ Khaled.
