Private Planes And Golden Toilets: The Kardashians Are Filthy Rich And Want Everyone To Know It

DailyWire.com

Kylie Jenner recently made headlines when her private plane completed a three minute flight, a trip that would have only been a 40 minute car drive.

Fans following her plane’s itinerary noticed that the Kylie Cosmetics brand founder often embarks on 15 minute flights rather than sitting in a car like a peasant. This is just one of dozens — or maybe hundreds — of examples of a Kardashian-Jenner family member flaunting their extraordinary wealth. Yet, to date, none have been “canceled” or shunned by mainstream media or their millions of fans.

There’s something countercultural about the Kar-Jenner clan earning wealth and celebrating it all over social media. During a time when victimhood is the highest honor, these reality stars make a spectacle of spending, purchasing diamond rings and designer handbags for their toddlers without shame or apology. Instead of trying to hide the massive wealth they’ve accumulated, these women embrace their status as highly-paid entrepreneurs enjoying the spoils of some smart business decisions.

Comedian Joel McHale used to describe Kim Kardashian as being famous for having “a big ass and a sex tape.” This description was likely meant to be derisive, but it actually only highlights how much Kim has built from nothing. The Kar-Jenner brand is lavish, spoiled, luxurious, wealthy, and excessive. Love them or hate them, they’ve managed to keep that image going for years and have used that clout to generate even more money.

Each Kar-Jenner is worth millions, with Kim ranking highest with an estimated fortune of $1.8 billion in 2022, according to Forbes. Even the “poorest” reality show mogul, Kendall Jenner, won’t likely be stuck clipping coupons anytime soon, as she’s sitting on a net worth of $45 million, Celebrity Net Worth reported.

The money comes from a variety of sources: Kendall models, Khloe owns a denim brand, Kourtney has Poosh, and all of the women participate in endorsements and sponsored social media posts, which can be worth more than some people’s houses.

“My daughters are constantly getting offers to post something for a company, or a brand, on social media,” momager Kris Jenner explained during an interview with “CBS Sunday Morning.” “They have a fee for a post, or a fee for a story, a fee for Facebook … they have a fee schedule.”

“I mean, it’s definitely six figures,” Jenner said of her daughters promoting specific content with their huge audiences on social media.

The Kar-Jenner social accounts are vital to their overall success. Besides earning six figures for product promotions, this is where the women flaunt their wealth and status, creating an image for themselves that fans become obsessed with.

“You wanna take mine or yours?” Kylie queried on Instagram beside a photo of herself and rapper Travis Scott standing between two private jets. The image racked up more than 8 million likes in just three days.

At least a jet is arguably practical, especially when it comes to avoiding California traffic, but the Kar-Jenners are so rich that they have no qualms about purchasing frivolous, expensive items just because they can.

In 2021, Kim shared an image of her diamond-and-birthstone adorned grill. “New opal birthstone grill alert,” the billionaire captioned the image, which showed off her sparkling teeth. The most surprising part, perhaps, is that she has multiple diamond grills, including one that spells out “Kim.”

Kendall, 26, admits that she adores taking baths in her gold tub like a true descendant of Midas. The estimated cost for her gilded throne is $40,000, which doesn’t compare to the Swarovski crystal-covered refrigerator that Kim and then-husband Kanye West had installed in their home in 2013. Per Daily Mail, the couple spent close to $1 million on Electrolux appliances, including four gold-plated toilets worth $750,000 alone.

The Kardashian clan loves to spend on themselves, but the way they spoil their children is legendary. When her daughter, Stormi, was a baby, Kylie turned her nose up at Graco and pushed her child around in a $12,500 Fendi stroller. Kim’s daughter, North, has real fur coats worth thousands. The tots also get to go on luxury vacations, participate in spa days, and enjoy birthday parties that cost millions to host. Momager Kris made headlines last December when she purchased her daughters a fleet of luxury Moke electric cars, which start at around $21,000 apiece and can cost up to $30,000, per Hollywood Life.

All along, Kim has attributed her success to working harder than everyone else. She insists that her fortune was earned, not given, so critics should take note.

“My parents didn’t give me financial help when I was starting out. Nothing,” the 41-year-old told Wealthsimple Magazine in March. “I got a job when I was 16. It was at a clothing store. I had crashed my car, and before I got another car my dad made me sign a contract that if I hit the car I was responsible for taking care of it. I had no money, so I had to go get a job, pay for it.”

“I didn’t have a credit card when all my friends had credit cards,” she continued. “So I would put it on [my dad’s] credit card, and he would always make me sign something that I would have to pay him back. So I guess that’s debt.”

During a conversation with Variety the same month, the mogul said the secret to success was being willing to go for it. “I have the best advice for women in business,” Kim said. “Get your f***ing ass up and work. It seems like nobody wants to work these days.”

The mom of four received quite the backlash for those comments, leading her to eventually clarify — but not exactly walk back — her original sentiment. “My message was to anyone who wants to be successful in building a business or brand having come from that very specific space — reality show or social media fame — is to work hard. It’s not easy. You don’t just post something on social media and overnight you become a success,” Kim told Robin Roberts on “Good Morning America,” per TMZ.

“My statement was never intended to be a general blanket statement or to even allude to the idea that women don’t already work hard — and I’m sorry that it was received in that way.”

However, her billionaire status is proof that hard work in a capitalist society can pay off. The Kar-Jenners may receive a great deal of eye rolls from haters, but, ultimately, the reason they’re so successful is because the world is watching their every move. For better or worse.
