<p>A previously deported Haitian illegal alien was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Massachusetts after being charged with sexual assault.</p>
<p>Jefferson Jerome, 30, was arrested in Dorchester on September 11 by officers with ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).</p>
<p>“Jefferson Jerome stands accused of a horrific crime against a resident of our Massachusetts community,” ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd M. Lyons <a href="https://www.ice.gov/news/releases/ero-boston-arrests-haitian-national-charged-sex-crime-against-massachusetts-resident">said</a>. “We will not tolerate the victimization of our neighbors. ERO Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by apprehending and removing egregious noncitizen offenders from New England.”</p>
<p>Jerome, who was charged with sexual assault and battery, illegally entered the United States in September 2021 near Del Rio, Texas. Border Patrol then returned him to Mexico. Jerome successfully re-entered the country, however, in December 2022 and was apprehended by Customs and Border Patrol and given orders to appear before an immigration judge.</p>
<p>The case comes just after another Haitian national was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/haitian-migrant-allowed-into-u-s-under-biden-and-accused-of-raping-teen-girl-captured-report">arrested</a> by Boston ICE after he allegedly raped a teen girl in a hotel that was being used to house migrants. Cory Alvarez, 26, was freed on a $500 bail before he was arrested by federal immigration authorities despite ICE asking for the migrant to be transferred to their custody. Alvarez was allowed into the United States under the Biden-Harris administration’s migrant parole program.</p>

<p>The alleged crimes from the two Haitian nationals come as the city of <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/what-has-my-town-become-springfield-residents-say-its-falling-apart-amid-haitian-influx">Springfield, Ohio,</a> has received national attention after an influx of 15,000 to 20,000 Haitian migrants under the Biden-Harris administration. The Rust Belt city had an estimated population of 57,000 before the Haitians relocated there, with residents saying that their presence has drained social services and made driving more dangerous.</p>
<p>The Biden-Harris administration has presided over an unprecedented surge of illegal immigration into the United States.</p>
<p>Georgia nursing student <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/laken-riley">Laken Riley</a> was allegedly killed by Jose Ibarra, a 26-year-old illegal immigrant from Venezuela, on February 22, 2024, just months before 12-year-old <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/mother-of-12-year-old-alleged-murdered-by-venezuelan-illegal-aliens-speaks-out">Jocelyn Nungaray</a> was allegedly murdered by two illegal immigrants who were also from Venezuela. Nungaray’s alleged killers entered the United States during the Biden-Harris administration.</p>
<p>One Honduran national and previously deported illegal alien was arrested earlier this month after he allegedly <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/previously-deported-illegal-alien-accused-of-stabbing-teen-with-butcher-knife-arrested">stabbed a 14-year-old girl</a> in the hand with a butcher knife in Lowell, Indiana.</p>
<p>Immigration has since become one of the top issues of the 2024 presidential election, with former President Donald Trump pledging to carry out the “<a href="https://www.axios.com/2024/09/13/trump-deportation-immigrants-springfield-ohio-aurora-colorado">largest deportation</a>” operation in the history of the country.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/2455010/illegal-border-crossers-total-over-10-million-since-biden-inauguration/">More than 10 million</a> people have crossed the border under the Biden-Harris administration, with an estimated <a href="https://cis.org/Arthur/Blockbuster-House-Report-Reveals-How-Badly-Bidens-Broken-Our-Immigration-System">1.7 million illegal immigrant gotaways recorded</a> since Biden was inaugurated in 2021. There were a total of 415,000 reported gotaways for 2018, 2019, and 2020 during the Trump administration.</p>
