<p>WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump has removed Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Billy Long from his role, replacing him temporarily with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.</p>
<p>A senior White House official confirmed the news to The Daily Wire on Friday afternoon, <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2025/08/08/us/politics/trump-billy-long-irs-commissioner.html">first reported by The New York Times</a>, only two months after Long was sworn into the role in June. He formerly served as a congressman for Missouri, and <a href="https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-bill/27/cosponsors?s=1&amp;r=89">previously co-sponsored legislation</a> to terminate the IRS.</p>
<p>Long will now become the ambassador of Iceland, a White House official shared with The Daily Wire on Friday.</p>
<p>“It is a honor to serve my friend President Trump and I am excited to take on my new role as the ambassador to Iceland,&#8221; Long said in a statement. &#8220;I am thrilled to answer his call to service and deeply committed to advancing his bold agenda. Exciting times ahead!”</p>

<p>Bessent&#8217;s temporary appointment makes him the sixth person to head the IRS this year, NBC News <a href="https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/economics/trump-replaces-irs-chief-with-bessent-rcna223965">reported</a>. The Treasury Secretary is already tasked with &#8220;trade talks with China, Canada and Mexico&#8221; while also assisting in the search for a new Federal Reserve chair.</p>
<p>It is not immediately clear who the president is considering to replace Long.</p>

President Trump Removes IRS Commissioner, Makes Him Ambassador to Iceland

<p>WASHINGTON — Federal authorities arrested a young person on Wednesday evening in Washington, D.C., who had threatened violence toward a school, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt revealed during Thursday&#8217;s press briefing.</p>
<p>Following the briefing, a White House official shared data with The Daily Wire that clarified the juvenile was arrested in Ward 7 for threats to kidnap and injure, as well as receiving stolen property, possession of a large capacity feeding device, and unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition.</p>
<p>Authorities executed a search warrant and recovered 7 firearms from this juvenile, who was arrested &#8220;after an investigation was initiated based on social media posts allegedly threatening violence toward a school.&#8221;</p>
<p>Leavitt shared the news of the arrest after being asked by Iris Tao, a White House reporter for New Tang Dynasty Television, about American parents who might be concerned for their children&#8217;s safety after the Minneapolis shooting, which took place Wednesday morning around 8:30 a.m., when a transgender-identifying man named Robert Westman fired through the windows of the Annunciation Catholic School’s church in Minneapolis as students attended daily mass on their first day of school.</p>
<p>He killed two children, ages 8 and 10, injuring 17 others before he shot himself in the parking lot.</p>

<p>&#8220;We completely and totally understand the concerns of parents across the country,&#8221; Leavitt responded. &#8220;This tragedy is heartbreaking, as a parent myself, there are no words to describe just the heartbreak that these families must be enduring, which is why the president and the first lady have encouraged everyone to continue to pray for these families and these victims and it’s why this administration is focused on removing public safety threats from our communities.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;This was a juvenile who was a risk to not just himself but the community here in Washington and he was removed from the community last night because of the law enforcement efforts of this administration,&#8221; Leavitt said.</p>

<p>The press secretary also pointed to the statement that First Lady Melania Trump put out on Wednesday, saying that the &#8220;tragic mass killing in Minnesota illuminates the need for preemptive intervention in identifying school shooters. Early warning signs are often evident with many individuals exhibiting concerning behaviors and making violent threats online prior to their actions.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;We encourage all Americans, as the old saying goes, if you see something, say something,&#8221; Leavitt emphasized. &#8220;If you see warning signs or threats reported to law enforcement, this administration, federal law enforcement will take those reports and threats seriously. They will be treated as a law-enforcement emergency and we will act accordingly.&#8221;</p>

<p>The arrest of the juvenile Wednesday night in D.C. was one of 105 arrests that night, including 32 illegal aliens. That brings the total arrests in Washington, D.C., to 1,283 since August 7 when President Donald Trump&#8217;s enforcement efforts began.</p>
<p>Authorities arrested a known Sur-13 gang member on Wednesday evening, and many of the other illegal aliens arrested had prior criminal histories for assault, battery on a family member, driving under the influence, fleeing detention and injuring officers upon recapture.</p>
<p>Other Wednesday night arrests were for assault on a federal officer, assault with attempt to rob, possession with the intent to distribute, theft, carrying a pistol without a license, domestic violence, assault with a dangerous weapon, and more.</p>
<p>Authorities also located a missing child and turned that child over to local authorities, the White House official shared with The Daily Wire.</p>

Trump’s DC Force Thwarts Juvenile School Shooter Threat Hoarding 7 Weapons

<p>WASHINGTON —Over the holiday weekend, gas prices are projected to hit their lowest levels since Labor Day 2020, according to GasBuddy&#8217;s annual Labor Day price forecast.</p>
<p>Labor Day gas prices averaged $2.22 a gallon in 2020, $3.16 in 2021, $3.79 in 2022, $3.77 in 2023, and $3.29 in 2024.</p>
<p>And this weekend, according to GasBuddy, they&#8217;re projected to be at $3.15 a gallon.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, and when it comes to gas prices, it’s been the cheapest summer to hit the road since the pandemic, a trend that will likely continue with the potential for the national average to fall below $3 per gallon this fall,” explained Patrick De Haan, who heads petroleum analysis at GasBuddy.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“We’ve seen a remarkably affordable summer to hit the road with incomes up and gas prices down, but there are some challenges that remain: hurricane season and uncertainty over trade, tariffs, and Russia’s war on Ukraine,&#8221; he added. &#8220;However, I remain optimistic that as cooler weather invades, gas prices too will seasonally cool off.”</p>
<p>The White House is celebrating the news, noting that it fulfills President Donald Trump&#8217;s promise to bring down the rising costs of living for many Americans.</p>
<p>“From Memorial Day to Labor Day, Americans have been saving significant money at the pump all summer long with the cheapest gas prices in 5 years,&#8221; White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers told The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>&#8220;President Trump promised to unleash American energy and make everyday life more affordable for families, and he delivered,&#8221; she added.</p>

<p>Though GasBuddy predicts  that it will be the &#8220;most affordable Labor Day weekend to fill up for the most in the last five years,&#8221; the fuel savings platform also says that gas prices in many states have risen over the past month &#8220;due to localized refinery outages.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;However, motorists can expect more relief to arrive in the weeks ahead as much of the nation will see the transition back to cheaper winter gasoline in mid-September,&#8221; GasBuddy noted in a release. &#8220;Gasoline demand will also soon begin to fall with the conclusion of the summer as motorists take fewer road trips and as temperatures start to cool off.&#8221;</p>

‘Most Affordable Labor Day Weekend’: Gas Prices Projected To Hit Lowest Levels Since 2020

<p>WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump’s Labor Department is welcoming back faith-based organizations into its federal grant process, The Daily Wire can first report, reversing a Biden-era move that diminished the role of faith in favor of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the Labor Department.</p>
<p>Under the Biden administration, the Labor Department has significantly reduced the role of its faith office by implementing DEI policies, the Daily Wire has learned. Now, the Trump Labor Department is reinvigorating the faith office to make clear that prayer and work do not have to be mutually exclusive in American society, particularly when faith organizations can help Americans acquire the needed skills to provide for their families.</p>
<p>Beginning immediately, the DOL shared with The Daily Wire that every Labor Department discretionary grant will explicitly encourage faith-based organizations to apply for funding. The new language in the grants makes it very clear that faith-based organizations cannot be discriminated against based on their religious beliefs.</p>
<p>“Under President Trump’s leadership, the Labor Department has eliminated the DEI office created under the previous administration and restored the Center for Faith to ensure religious freedom is protected in the workplace and in the grant process,” U.S. Department of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer told The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>“We are making clear that faith-based organizations cannot be discriminated against because of their beliefs,” she added, “and are encouraged to compete for federal funding on a level playing field.”</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">The faith office is tasked with developing regulations that protect religious freedom and engaging with faith organizations nationwide. The DEI initiatives introduced by Biden across the Labor Department significantly diminished the role of faith-based organizations, DOL officials explained to The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>Now that Trump is back in command, the Labor Department has restored the Center for Faith back to its intended purpose, which is led by a director, a deputy director, and a senior advisor under the leadership of Chavez-DeRemer (who also sits on Trump’s “Task Force To Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias”).</p>
<p>The Center for Faith will work with the White House Faith Office as well as other federal faith agencies to make sure that religious freedom is promoted in the workplace, that resources are available to support First Amendment religious liberty rights for both employees and employers, and to “level the playing field in the federal grant process” for faith organizations.</p>

EXCLUSIVE: Scrapping Biden’s DEI, Labor Department Restores Faith Back Into Grant Process

<p>The man who shot and killed two Catholic children and injured 17 other people at a Minneapolis Catholic school has been identified by authorities as “Robin Westman,” a transgender-identifying 23-year-old who posted radical videos in the hour before his attack.</p>
<p>This individual identified as a woman and changed his name from Robert Westman to Robin Westman in 2020, <a href="https://x.com/peterjhasson/status/1960758053625627109">as The Washington Free Beacon’s Peter Hassan reported</a>. Court filings show that Westman’s mother signed off on the name change, since her son was a minor, and the documents state that Westman “identifies as a female and wants her name to reflect that identification.”</p>
<p>On Wednesday morning, around 8:30 am, Westman fired through the windows of the Annunciation Catholic School’s church in Minneapolis as students attended daily mass on their first day of school. He killed two children, ages 8 and 10, injuring 17 others before he shot himself in the parking lot, according to Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara.</p>

<p>Video footage obtained by The Daily Wire shows that YouTube user “Robin W” posted a disturbing video on Wednesday morning with the caption, “so long and thanks for all the fish.” That video shows an individual thumbing through a notebook filled with Russian and English journal entries, as well as pictures of guns, diagrams of his attacks, and a transgender “defend equality” flag sticker.</p>
<p>Throughout the video, he mutters, whispers, and giggles in a disturbing fashion.</p>
<p>As the video concludes, Westman appears to thumb through the pages of his notebook as he whispers, “I can’t deal with this anymore &#8230; I can’t do this anymore &#8230; I have to go, I have to go&#8230;”</p>

<p>He pans with the camera to a page in his notebook where it’s written in big English scrawl, “Sick fuck, sick fuck, murderer hahahahaha villain,” as he whispers aloud, “Oh my God,” and gives a middle finger to the page, before grabbing what appears to be a pistol off his desk and pressing it into the page of the book.</p>
<p>He then whimpers and mutters twice in a whisper, “My family. My family,” as he pans to a page that concludes, “The End,” and says, “I’m so sorry.”</p>
<p>He shows his room, whispering, “I’m all packed up &#8230; I don’t know what else to say. It’s over. It’s over. It’s all over.” He then mutters something about whether he will make it “to tomorrow,” before whispering, “Pray for me, I love you all.”</p>
<p>This was just one of many disturbing moments in the videos posted to the account, which YouTube removed on Wednesday afternoon with the help of the FBI, O’Hara confirmed. YouTube has not responded to requests for comment from The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>The New York Post&#8217;s Diana Glebova <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/08/27/us-news/robin-westman-mused-about-slaughtering-filthy-zionist-jews-in-sick-journal-before-deadly-catholic-school-shooting/">translated the journal</a> and found that Westman repeatedly discussed his hatred for Jews as well.</p>
<p>“If I will carry out a racially motivated attack, it would be most likely against filthy Zionist jews,” he wrote in one entry, according to the New York Post, adding in another entry: “I hate those entitled, penny-sniffing k-kes,&#8221; and in another, &#8220;6 million wasn&#8217;t enough,&#8221; referring to the number of Jewish Holocaust victims. He also wrote a message about destroying &#8220;HIAS,&#8221; a Jewish refugee aid group, and one of his guns read, “Israel must fall, release the files.&#8221;</p>
<p>Westman also wrote about assassinating President Donald Trump as well as the Jews. But the deceased shooter reflected that killing “children of innocent civilians” would give him “the most joy.&#8221;</p>
<p>“For good would be a target or political or societal significance. Targets like Musk, Trump or some significant exec,” he wrote, adding in another entry:  “I can’t really put my finger on a specific purpose. It definitely won’t be for racism or white supremacy.&#8221;</p>
<p>“While I don’t really like being around people of color, I don’t give enough of a shit about them to take my life for them,&#8221; he wrote, according to the New York Post.</p>
<p>Westman also wrote that he had been suicidal for a number of years. He wrote of his shooting plans:  “I don’t want to [do] it to spread a message. I do it to please myself. I do it because I am sick&#8230;I don’t think I could just take myself out. I would need to do something with my final act.&#8221;</p>
<p>Other videos on the YouTube page examined by The Daily Wire show that “Robin W” had an obsession with shooters, including the Sandy Hook shooter who killed 20 children and six school staffers before killing himself. He also drew a sketch of the Annunciation Church.</p>

<p>On Wednesday afternoon, FBI Director Kash Patel shared that the FBI is “investigating this shooting as an act of domestic terrorism and hate crime targeting Catholics.”</p>
<p>“There were 2 fatalities, an 8-year-old and a 10-year-old,” he said. “In addition, 14 children and 3 adults were injured. The shooter has been identified as Robin Westman, a male born as Robert Westman. The FBI will continue to provide updates on our ongoing investigation with the public as we are able.”</p>

<p>Westman was carrying a rifle, shotgun, and pistol, and killed himself after firing “dozens of rounds” at innocent children, according to O’Hara. Police believe the shooter fired all three weapons, and said that he barricaded the students and staff in the church by placing a wooden plank against some of the side doors, in an attempt to prevent them from fleeing.</p>
<p>One adult and six children are in critical condition, <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/08/27/us/minneapolis-church-shooting/4bb55715-d5ea-591a-8eb6-cbd06d35e4b2?smid=url-share" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according</a> to the Hennepin County Medical Center, although Chief O’Hara <a href="https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/08/27/us/minneapolis-church-shooting/a5118dd0-6000-5848-9f75-60df224820ee?smid=url-share">said</a> the children wounded in the shooting were all expected to survive.</p>

<p>Westman is the second trans-identifying killer to target school children in recent years. A trans-identifying shooter <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/covenant-shooters-entire-diary-published-revealing-obsession-with-white-privilege-transgenderism" target="_blank" rel="noopener">killed three children and three adults</a> at Covenant Christian School in Nashville in March 2023.</p>
<p>President Joe Biden’s FBI would claim that it withheld the shooter’s 100-page journal in the name of public safety, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/fbi-told-nashville-police-release-of-school-shooter-writings-would-lead-to-conspiracy-theories-inaccurate-info" target="_blank" rel="noopener">suggesting that the manifesto would lead</a> to “conspiracy theories” and “inaccurate information.” The Tennessee Star published the shooter’s entire journal, and the writings <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/covenant-shooters-entire-diary-published-revealing-obsession-with-white-privilege-transgenderism" target="_blank" rel="noopener">revealed</a> that the shooter was obsessed with ideas of transgenderism and white privilege, and frequently wrote about her autism and depression.</p>

What We Know About The Trans-Identifying Gunman Who Slaughtered Catholic School Children

<p>Two years before a shooter opened fire on students attending daily mass in Minneapolis, the leaders of independent and Catholic schools in Minnesota begged Democrat Governor Tim Walz for help securing their schools, according to a 2023 letter reviewed by The Daily Wire. The funding was never authorized.</p>
<p>In a <a href="https://www.mncatholic.org/letter_to_governor_walz_school_safety_in_nonpublic_schools">letter</a> dated April 14, 2023 that specifically addressed &#8220;school safety in nonpublic schools,&#8221; Tim Benz, the president of MINNDEPENDENT and Jason Adkins, the executive director of the Minnesota Catholic Conference, stressed an &#8220;urgent and critical need in Minnesota to make sure our schools are secure and safe&#8221; in light of &#8220;recent, and continuing attacks, on our schools in this country and in our state.&#8221;</p>
<p>The letter says there are about 72,000 students in Independent, Catholic, Jewish, Christian and Muslim nonpublic schools within the state of Minnesota. It came just weeks after the shooting at a Christian school in Tennessee, which was also carried out by a transgender-identifying individual in their twenties.</p>
<p>&#8220;The latest school shooting at a nonpublic Christian school in Tennessee sadly confirms what we already know – our schools are under attack,&#8221; Benz and Adkins wrote. &#8220;In Minnesota, nonpublic schools, particularly our Jewish and Muslim schools, have experienced increased levels of threats, all of which we must take very seriously.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The tragedy from last week at Covenant School must never happen in Minnesota or in our country again,&#8221; they wrote. &#8220;We need to ensure that <u>all [our] schools</u> have the resources to respond to and prevent these attacks from happening to our schools.&#8221;</p>
<p>The leaders specifically called on Waltz for assistance in making sure not only that the Minnesota Legislature enacts his budget recommendation of $50 million to establish the &#8220;Building and Cyber Security Grand Program, but also that this program include all schools as eligible for funding, regardless of whether these schools are public, charters, or nonpublic.</p>
<p>Adkins told The Daily Wire on Wednesday after the shooting in Minneapolis that no additional security was ever funded, even though the money existed.</p>
<p>&#8220;It’s a lack of will to do it by elected officials, coupled with opposition by some legislators because nonpublic school students were included in the funding,&#8221; Adkins said. &#8220;I would note that Minnesota had an $18 billion dollar budget surplus in the 2023-24 session and this was not funded.&#8221;</p>
<p>Adkins said that Walz had voiced support in meetings for the program, which would have &#8220;created a consistent funding stream from the state budget on a per pupil basis for all students, not just those in Catholic/private schools,&#8221; but that nothing was done.</p>
<p>&#8220;It was raised in discussions between the bishops and Gov. Walz, and he communicated his belief that people should feel safe in their schools and places of worship,&#8221; Adkins shared. &#8220;But the appropriation was not created.&#8221;</p>
<p>Walz in 2023 was instead working to protect transgenders. In April 2023, the same month the letter was sent, Walz signed legislation establishing Minnesota as a &#8220;trans refuge,&#8221; promising to &#8220;protect those seeking gender-affirming care,&#8221; according to <a href="https://www.outfront.org/governor-walz-signs-conversion-therapy-ban-and-trans-refuge-bills-law">OutFront Minnesota</a>.</p>
<p>The letter argued that excluding independent and religious schools from security programs was discrimination.</p>
<p>&#8220;The exclusion of one sector of schools – as you know, nonpublic schools serve many students and families in need of services and resources – is a discriminatory act against our students,&#8221; they wrote. &#8220;Since 2020, nonpublic schools have been advocating to be part of the Safe Schools Program that provides funding to school districts for emergency response training, security upgrades, mental health services, and security resources.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The legislation supported by our collective organizations provides state aid to school districts, intermediate school districts, charter schools and nonpublic schools for this program. Unfortunately, this program currently does not cover nonpublic schools, charter schools and intermediate school districts and it is a levy-only program for school districts.&#8221;</p>
<p>Schools that are not included in the program, they stressed, could be more vulnerable to attacks.</p>
<p>&#8220;An attack on any school, whether it is a public, nonpublic, charter or another school site, cannot be tolerated or allowed to happen in Minnesota,&#8221; they wrote. &#8220;We want to make sure Minnesota is doing everything it can to ensure that all our students are safe and secure. We ask you include $50 million in the final Education Finance bill and allow nonpublic schools to apply for funding.&#8221;</p>
<p>They also asked for a meeting to discuss their proposal as well as &#8220;ongoing concerns regarding safety and security in our schools.&#8221;</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The shooter was identified as Robin Westman, according to <a href="https://x.com/peterjhasson/status/1960758053625627109" target="_blank" rel="noopener">multiple</a> <a href="https://nypost.com/2025/08/27/us-news/minneapolis-catholic-school-gunman-idd-as-robin-westman-while-possible-manifesto-shows-psychotic-obsession-with-mass-shooters/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reports</a>. In 2020, Westman reportedly <a href="https://x.com/peterjhasson/status/1960758053625627109" target="_blank" rel="noopener">changed</a> his name from Robert to Robin because he “identifies as a female and wants her name to reflect that identification.”</p>
<p>Walz did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Daily Wire.</p>
<p>Benz, the president of MINNDEPENDENT, told The Daily Wire that he and Adkins are aligned and he had nothing to add to his comments. He described Wednesday as &#8220;heartbreaking&#8221; for all schools, sharing: &#8220;Annunciation is a very closeknit community and has been an anchor in their neighborhood for more than 100 years. We stand in solidarity and alongside Annunciation by holding them close to our hearts today and in the difficult days ahead.&#8221;</p>

Minnesota Catholic School Leader Warned Tim Walz Of ‘Critical’ School Safety Threats. He Did Nothing.

<p>WASHINGTON — The United States Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement have executed arrests of 5,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles since June, The Daily Wire can first report. And Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has a message for criminal illegals in the United States: &#8220;This is just the beginning.&#8221;</p>
<p>The 5,000th arrest in Los Angeles is an individual named Gustavo Garcia-Miranda, a criminal illegal alien and convicted drug trafficker from Mexico, a DHS official told The Daily Wire, sharing that Garcia-Miranda illegally entered the United States in 2008 and was arrested by Border Patrol for illegal re-entry.</p>
<p>&#8220;That’s 5,000 criminal illegal aliens, gang members, child predators, and murderers taken off our streets,&#8221; Noem told The Daily Wire. &#8220;Precious lives saved. Families protected. American taxpayers spared the cost of their crimes AND the burden of their benefits.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;THANK YOU to our brave law enforcement officers,&#8221; the Homeland Security Secretary emphasized. &#8220;Make no mistake: if you are here illegally, we will find you, arrest you, and send you back. This is just the beginning.&#8221;</p>
<p>The arrests come in spite of pushback from lawmakers and California politicians who embrace sanctuary city policies, as well as the disruption of rioters in California, who began violently protesting federal agents following increased apprehension rates by ICE agents in Los Angeles in early June.</p>
<p>Video footage of the rioting showed individuals throwing bricks and Molotov cocktails at armored vehicles, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/pentagon-announces-withdrawal-of-thousands-of-troops-from-los-angeles?author=Sam+Korkus&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=undefined&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=Pentagon+Announces+Withdrawal+Of+Thousands+Of+Troops+From+Los+Angeles">prompting President Donald Trump</a> to federalize 4,000 members of the California National Guard within days, arguing that the government needed to restore order to the city, and an additional 700 Marines to support local law enforcement.</p>
<p>DHS emphasizes that despite these challenges, ICE and Border Patrol continued to push forward and deliver on the president&#8217;s promise to free American communities from illegal alien crime.</p>
<p class="m_1283902970161846128paragraph"><span class="m_1283902970161846128normaltextrun">&#8220;Secretary Noem has been clear: LA rioters would not stop DHS or slow us down,&#8221; the agency said in a press release. &#8220;Our law enforcement will continue to enforce the law. And anyone who lays a hand on a law enforcement officer, will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.&#8221; </span></p>

<p>On Friday, a judge <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/obama-judge-blocks-trump-from-defunding-sanctuary-cities">appointed by former President Barack Obama</a> ruled that Trump cannot cut federal funding from sanctuary cities around the country — cities that consider themselves “sanctuaries” for illegal immigrants. That includes Los Angeles, which Trump&#8217;s DOJ sued in June, arguing that the city&#8217;s policies that bar Los Angeles resources from being used in immigration enforcement operations.</p>
<p>The president has argued vehemently against sanctuary cities, saying in April: “No more Sanctuary Cities! They protect the Criminals, not the Victims. They are disgracing our Country, and are being mocked all over the World. Working on papers to withhold all Federal Funding for any City or State that allows these Death Traps to exist!!!”</p>
<p class="m_1283902970161846128paragraph">The DHS announcement also comes as the president&#8217;s federal enforcement operation in Washington, D.C., has announced dozens of arrests of illegal immigrants every night since August 7, when Trump&#8217;s crime enforcement began. On Monday night, for example, federal authorities <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/in-less-than-a-month-trumps-federal-d-c-force-makes-more-than-1k-arrests?author=Mary+Margaret+Olohan&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=0&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=In+Less+Than+A+Month%2C+Trump%E2%80%99s+Federal+D.C.+Force+Makes+More+Than+1K+Arrests">made a total of 87 arrests</a>, 39 of whom were illegal aliens with prior arrests for DUI, simple assault, second degree assault, sexual solicitation, felony robbery, contempt of court, and more.</p>
<p>One Mexican illegal alien arrested in D.C. on Monday night had a prior arrest for child rape and three prior immigration encounters. Another illegal alien arrested on Monday evening was a member of Tren de Aragua.</p>
