Jordan Peterson’s New, Powerful ‘Parenting’ Series Coming To DailyWire+

<p>Daily Wire investigative reporter Spencer Lindquist took home a 2025 Media Research Center Bulldog Award for excellence in conservative media.</p>
<p>The Media Research Center (MRC) presents the <a href="https://newsbusters.org/blogs/nb/nb-staff/2025/05/06/mrc-announces-fourth-annual-bulldog-award-winners-sowell-musk-kelly" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Bulldog Awards</a> to conservative journalists, columnists, and podcast hosts each year as an alternative to the left-leaning Pulitzer Prize. Lindquist received the MRC Bulldog Award for Outstanding Blogger for his reporting on Colony Ridge, a housing development in Texas that advertises to illegal immigrants and has become a hotbed of illegal alien crime.</p>
<p>Lindquist has “documented rising crime in the greater Colony Ridge area, including a child abduction, drug overdoses, drug trafficking, drunk driving, murders, and hideouts for criminal illegal immigrants,” the MRC announced this week.</p>
<p>“Despite that, Lindquist reported that developers view mass immigration as a business opportunity, including the systematic targeting of illegal immigrants by allowing them to purchase land without a Social Security number.”</p>
<p>The MRC further notes that “thanks to Lindquist’s reporting, Colony Ridge has been put squarely in the crosshairs of the Trump administration, including immigration operations that have nabbed over 100 illegal aliens and MS-13 gang members.”</p>
<p>Other Bulldog Award recipients this year include the economist Thomas Sowell, who received the Lifetime Achievement Award; Elon Musk, who was named Outstanding Social Media Personality; the Wall Street Journal’s Kimberly Strassel, Outstanding Columnist; and CNN contributor Scott Jennings, who was honored for Outstanding Achievement Behind Enemy Lines.</p>

Just this week, he <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/exclusive-trump-dhs-partners-with-100s-of-police-departments-to-supercharge-deportation-campaign?author=Spencer+Lindquist&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=1&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=EXCLUSIVE%3A+Trump+Makes+Move+To+Super-Charge+Deportations+Using+Local+Cops" target="_blank" rel="noopener">broke the news</a> that the Trump administration was deputizing local law enforcement agencies to carry out certain ICE duties, including deportations.</p>
<p>Outside of immigration, Lindquist has also reported extensively on the transgender lobby and left-wing environmental policies, among other issues.</p>
<p>“As trust in left-wing media continues to collapse, independent news sources featuring fearless truth-tellers are on the rise,” MRC Vice President for Research and Publications Brent Baker said. “This year’s MRC Bulldog winners are replacing discredited leftists who claim to report the news, yet failed the American people when it came to stories like the Russiagate scandal and Joe Biden’s cognitive decline.&#8221;</p>

It’s Norming In America. Feels Different, Doesn’t It?

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The following is a distilled and edited transcript of an interview between Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief John Bickley and Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) on a </span><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/podcasts/morning-wire/tesla-attacks-doge-government-waste-with-senator-marsha-blackburn-3-29-25" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="font-weight: 400;">weekend edition of Morning Wire</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As Tesla owners face escalating attacks and the Biden-era federal budget balloons, Senator Marsha Blackburn says Americans are witnessing the backlash to Republican efficiency reforms and shrinking government. In a recent Morning Wire interview with Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief John Bickley, Senator Blackburn outlines why the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is under fire, and why she believes Democrats are “rudderless” and losing their grip on power.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>John Bickley:</strong> Senator, you’re bringing a resolution to the Senate floor that condemns attacks on Tesla. What prompted that move?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Senator Marsha Blackburn:</strong> It’s stunning that we’re seeing these violent attacks—vandalism, destruction of private property, even firebombings—and yet Democratic leadership is not standing up and calling out these acts of domestic terrorism. This resolution says the U.S. Senate stands against those acts of violence. Whether it’s Tesla dealerships, electric car owners, or charging stations being targeted, it’s unacceptable. So we think this resolution is appropriate. We want to give members of the U.S. Senate from each party, along with a couple of independents, the opportunity to stand up and say, “We condemn these attacks.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Bickley:</strong> Elon Musk has suggested there’s big money and coordination behind these protests. Are you seeing evidence that this isn’t just grassroots chaos?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Sen. Blackburn:</strong> Yes. What we’ve heard — and what Musk has highlighted — is that this is something that is quite organized. We know they’re planning a so-called &#8220;Global Day of Action&#8221; against Tesla. The reasoning behind it is telling: it’s about their hatred for Donald Trump, their disdain for Elon Musk, and opposition to DOGE — the Department of Government Efficiency — which Musk helped establish in partnership with Congress. That’s the real target. Leftists need big government in order to survive. That’s their mother&#8217;s milk, if you will. These activist organizations can’t survive on their own — so when we start rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse in the federal system, they become distraught. DOGE is cutting off the pipeline of taxpayer money that’s been flowing into these nonprofits.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Bickley:</strong> What kind of waste are we talking about here?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Sen. Blackburn:</strong> The Biden administration handed out billions to organizations that have no ability to stand on their own. I’ll give you one example: Stacey Abrams’ so-called “climate justice” nonprofit had about $100 in the bank, but somehow received $2 billion in federal money — that’s billion with a “B.” That’s not just wasteful, it’s offensive to taxpayers. All that money needs to be clawed back. It should go back to the U.S. Treasury and used to pay down our $36 trillion in debt. Then, we need to codify those cuts, making them permanent through rescission bills and reconciliation processes. That’s how we get to a balanced budget again. Right now we’re at $7.3 trillion. Trump’s target is $5.5 trillion.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Bickley:</strong> What specifically will the Senate do to make DOGE reforms permanent?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Sen. Blackburn:</strong> You&#8217;ll see us move quickly on a reconciliation bill to make the Trump 2017 tax cuts permanent. That’s step one. But just as important, we’re planning a rescission bill that includes DOGE’s spending reductions. That’s the mechanism for cutting these funds out of the federal budget baseline. The beauty of the rescission process is that it only requires 51 votes in the Senate, not 60. That gives us a real path to codify these cuts. We’re aiming to get back to pre-COVID levels of spending.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Bickley:</strong> Final question. We&#8217;ve seen a lot of pressure mounting on Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Do you foresee a real shakeup with the Democrats in the near future?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>Sen. Blackburn:</strong> I don’t think Chuck Schumer’s going anywhere. They’ve gone so far Left, however, that even their base is frustrated. If you look at the issues Americans care about — securing the border, deporting criminal illegal aliens, restoring law and order, getting men out of women’s sports, balancing the budget — these are 80/20 issues. Eighty percent of the people are in favor while 20% are opposed. But the Democrats are on the wrong side of every one of them. They oppose everything that&#8217;s being done to secure the border and deport criminal illegal aliens and get inflation down and get men out of women&#8217;s sports. The list goes on and on. So, they’re rudderless. They have no message, no messenger, no designated leaders. They’re pretty much out of the game.</span></p>

‘They’re Rudderless’: Sen. Blackburn On Democrats, DOGE, And Domestic Terrorism

<p style="font-weight: 400;">This week, Daily Wire Editor Emeritus Ben Shapiro will begin a five-part series titled “The Case For Derek Chauvin.”</p>
<p>&#8220;This is going to be a comprehensive, multi-episode breakdown of the case — all the facts, all the evidence, all the political context,&#8221; Shapiro says in the first episode of the five-part series, which will premier Tuesday.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Chauvin was convicted in 2021 of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter in the death of George Floyd after a traffic stop on May 25, 2020. He was sentenced to 22.5 years in prison. Chauvin appealed his conviction, but the Minnesota Supreme Court upheld the decision and the United States Supreme Court declined to review the case. After the verdict was delivered, President Joe Biden declared, “Today&#8217;s verdict is a step forward.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Chauvin was later convicted on federal charges of depriving Floyd of his constitutional rights and <a href="https://www.justice.gov/archives/opa/pr/former-minneapolis-police-officer-derek-chauvin-sentenced-more-20-years-prison-depriving#:~:text=On%20Dec.,police%20officer%2C%20resulting%20in%20Mr.">received</a> a 21-year sentence.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Floyd’s death was used as justification for riots throughout the summer of 2020.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“Dozens of people were killed or injured in the violent unrest, and thousands of businesses and properties, many minority-owned, were looted, torched, or otherwise vandalized,” the Foundation for Economic Education <a href="https://fee.org/articles/george-floyd-riots-caused-record-setting-2-billion-in-damage-new-report-says-here-s-why-the-true-cost-is-even-higher/">noted</a>. Fifteen people <a href="https://dailycaller.com/2020/06/05/15-people-died-protests-riots-george-floyd-death/">reportedly died</a> as a result of the riots. “The arson, vandalism and looting… will result in at least $1 billion to $2 billion of paid insurance claims,” Axios <a href="https://www.axios.com/riots-cost-property-damage-276c9bcc-a455-4067-b06a-66f9db4cea9c.html?utm_source=newsletter&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=newsletter_axiosam&amp;stream=top">reported.</a> That only estimated losses that were insured, thus underestimating the likely damage.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Shapiro has called for President Trump to pardon Chauvin of the federal charges against him, stating:</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;The evidence demonstrates that Derek Chauvin did not, in fact, commit murder of George Floyd. George Floyd was high on fentanyl. He had a significant preexisting heart condition. George Floyd was saying he could not breathe before he was even out of the car. He was in the car saying he could not breathe. Derek Chauvin, for a large segment of the tape that was shown, had his knee on George Floyd&#8217;s shoulder or back, not on his neck.&#8221;</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;The autopsy of George Floyd showed that he had no damage to his trachea, that probably George Floyd died of excited delirium,&#8221; Shapiro continued. &#8220;There were no accusations, even at trial, that Derek Chauvin had committed a hate crime against George Floyd, or that he targeted George Floyd because of his race.&#8221;</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Shapiro noted that &#8220;it is worthwhile to remember that there is a man who is rotting in prison because the media decided in the middle of 2020 that they were going to turn a tragic law enforcement stop that ended with the death of a man who had a significant problem with drugs and preexisting health problems into the<em> raison d’etre </em>of the entire 2020 election.&#8221;</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;It led to vast chaos,&#8221; Shapiro said. &#8220;It led to the destruction of racial comity in the United States, $2 billion in property damage, and a guy rotting in prison who, the evidence demonstrates, certainly was not guilty beyond reasonable doubt in that case.&#8221;</p>
