Hundreds of naked protesters in Portland participated in a nude “die-in” on Sunday in a bid to stop President Donald Trump’s mass deportation campaign.

The nude bikers paraded their bodies around the city before dropping to the ground on a bridge, where they pretended to be dead. At one point, armed federal agents could be seen on the roof of an Immigration and Customs Enforcement building looking down at the unsightly spectacle.

Emergency World Naked Bike Ride participants normally ride around in their birthday suits in the summer in the name of saving the climate. But the group decided there was an urgent need to demonstrate against Trump’s plan to deploy troops to Portland to quell anti-ICE agitators, according to the Associated Press.

“We’re here today because we strongly believe that we do not need federal troops in Portland or in Oregon at all,” Ashley, a participant in the stripped-down event, said, according to Fox 12.

“It is electric, so fun, it’s so Portland. Just keeping everything weird,” said Saturn, another naked bike rider.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt took to X to respond to the stripped down protests.

“If you think this is crazy, congratulations, you’re a Republican!” she wrote.

In recent weeks, anti-ICE protestors have lit fires, hurled rocks, and launched fireworks at federal agents in Portland. An illegal immigrant was also arrested last month after he allegedly pointed a dangerous laser at a Customs and Border Protection helicopter flying over Portland, Oregon.

In response to the attacks, Trump posted on Truth Social last month that he was directing Secretary of War Pete Hegseth to provide troops to protect “War ravaged Portland” from “Antifa, and other domestic terrorists” and authorizing “Full Force, if necessary.”

Hegseth then issued a memo authorizing the deployment and federalization of 200 Oregon National Guard service members.

A federal judge, however, temporarily ordered the troops to stand down. The city now awaits a ruling from an appeals court panel, which will decide whether or not Trump can federalize the National Guard soldiers.
