Just how dumb do Leftists think you are? Well, they think you are foolish enough to buy that the real lesson in the string of never-ending Joe and Hunter Biden scandals is the importance of fatherly love.
From The Associated Press to The New York Times to even the ladies of ABC’s “The View,” it seems that liberals everywhere are rediscovering the importance of the patriarchy and the tender — and/or tough — guidance that a father can provide.
In the wake of the president’s latchkey kid’s plea deal, and his uncanny ability to escape serious criminal charges, The Associated Press ran a story titled, “Pride and pain for Biden as his son Hunter reaches a plea deal after 5 years of investigation.”
The AP, increasingly referred to as American Propaganda, published a “news” article portraying President Biden as the victim in all of this and a man who is torn between being a good dad and serving the American people. Biden said he was “proud” of Hunter following the plea deal.
The AP used his comments to blast Republicans.
“That pride has been accompanied by pain, and for the president’s family, both have been on public display. Republicans have worked to use Hunter Biden’s actions — and his acknowledged struggle with addiction — as an anchor to try to drag down his father,” The AP said.
The president, as our commander-in-chief, has been stripped of his most fundamental duty: Being a dad to his son, according to the AP.
“The most fatherly of things he could do — advise a son going through a hard time — isn’t exactly available for a man whose administration commands the office that was investigating his son and his political rival simultaneously,” the AP wrote.
The column details some of Hunter’s run-ins with the law but presents those alleged crimes as happening alongside Joe Biden. Readers are led to believe that the president could never have been an active participant in the alleged Biden family money-making scheme — except in the figments of Republican imaginations.
Then, The New York Times couched the situation in a similar language.
“For Biden, the Troubles of His Son Are Personal and Politically Painful,” a headline ran in The Grey Lady last week.
“After more than a half-century in politics, no subject may be more personally painful nor politically problematic for President Biden than his troubled son, Hunter,” The Times’ Peter Baker wrote. “He is by various accounts a gaping wound in his heart and the most sensitive soft spot in his campaign armor.”
Again, the problem isn’t the actual scandal. It’s that conservatives are calling the Biden family out for alleged wrongdoing.
Baker actually mentioned the infamous laptop in his article — but seemingly waived it away as nothing more than red herring.
He claimed it had taken on a “totemic meaning” for Biden’s opponents, “even if they cannot describe what was actually found on the computer that turned up at a repair shop in 2020,” he said, with a whiff of derision in the supposedly “straight” news article.
In case Baker needs a refresher about what’s on that laptop, The Daily Wire reported in 2022 that the laptop documents at least 459 legal violations, according to one watchdog. It also contained potential messages implicating the president.
Then there was Ana Navarro on Monday. Navarro practically broke down in tears talking about the love that Biden displays for his son — nary a care in the world for concerns about corruption or what is on the laptop.

For years now, Americans have been told fathers don’t matter. The patriarchy should be dismantled. Boys don’t need dads. As it turns out, Leftists do think that children do need fathers — but only if that relationship can be used by Legacy Media to push a leftist narrative.
Meanwhile, there’s a girl in Arkansas whose dad apparently wants nothing to do with her and who has a grandpa in the White House who refuses to acknowledge she exists.
It is all so twisted.
