A petition formally asking the White House to classify violent leftist group Antifa as a terrorist organization has blown up online, reaching over 140,000 signatures since its inception on August 17.
The petition explains that Antifa engages in terrorism — “the use of violence and intimidation in pursuit of political aims” — and thus should be declared a terrorist organization.
