Actor/comedian Pete Davidson will reportedly barely appear on-screen in the second season of “The Kardashians” series following reports that he and Kim Kardashian have called it quits.
Sources with knowledge of the situation said the 28-year-old comedian is barely in the new season of the Hulu reality series amid reports that he and the 41-year-old reality TV star broke up after nine months together, Page Six reported.
“He’s [Davidson] in the background, but the reality world is not built for people like Pete,” a source told the outlet.
The insider described the “SNL” star as “a very private person” and acknowledged that Kardashian “was always super respectful of that.”

“He [Davidson] was not on the first season,” the source added. “I don’t know how they’re doing the second season, but he’s not a part of that world.”
The “Saturday Night Live” star makes an appearance in the trailer for the upcoming series — as compared to none in the first season of the show, as The Daily Wire previously reported.
Davidson and the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star reportedly called it quits earlier this month, with sources stating that “no event caused” the break up and the two have “decided to just be friends,” as reported.
“Kim and Pete have decided to just be friends,” an insider close to Kardashian explained. “They have a lot of love and respect for each other, but found that the long distance and their demanding schedules made it really difficult to maintain a relationship.”
In July, Hulu dropped “The Kardashians” season 2 trailer, showing Kim asking Pete Davidson to shower with her and talking about her new romance.
In the clip, Kim can be seen on camera talking about her relationship with the comedian. “Life is good. I have a new boyfriend. I’m just having a really good time.”
Fans also got a glimpse of Davidson in the series as he’s seen talking with Khloé Kardashian when Kim appeared and whisked him away to take a shower with her.
“Babe, do you want to shower with me really quick?” Kim asked Pete, who runs off gleefully with her.
In November 2021, reports started surfacing that the pair were dating following Kardashian’s divorce from 45-year-old rapper Kanye West earlier that year, E! News noted.
Despite all reports, the reality star and Davidson didn’t make things official that they were dating until March.
Kim and Kanye divorced in 2021 following nearly seven years of marriage. She and West share four children together.
The second season of “The Kardashians” premieres September 22 on Hulu.
