<p>Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) continued to risk the wrath of the far left within his own party, taking to X to call out anti-Israel protesters who had targeted a Jewish-owned restaurant in his home state.</p>
<p>Fetterman was responding to a video from Philadelphia in which protesters surrounded a falafel restaurant and accused Israel of committing genocide in Gaza.</p>

<p>Fetterman has been vocal in his support of Israel since the October 7th massacre, when Hamas terrorists breached the border and slaughtered more than 1,200 Israelis — men, women, and children, most of whom were civilians — and took more than 200 hostages with them back to Gaza.</p>
<p>The Pennsylvania Senator has also repeatedly called for the release of all hostages — some of whom were released as part of a temporary ceasefire that came to an end late last week — and covered the walls of his offices with their missing posters.</p>
<p>&#8220;In my front office I have displayed the posters of the innocent Israelis kidnapped by Hamas.   They will stay up until every single person is safely returned home,&#8221; he said at the time.</p>

<p>Fetterman has faced resistance from within his own party, such as Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), who warned that Democrats could lose support from the hard left if they continue to support Israel. <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/female-democrat-demands-balance-in-condemnation-of-hamas-raping-israeli-women-and-cnns-dana-bash-stops-her-cold" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Jayapal</a> also called for &#8220;balance&#8221; in condemning Hamas&#8217; use of sexual violence and rape to terrorize Israeli women, suggesting during a recent CNN interview that Israel&#8217;s targeted response to Hamas amounted to a violation of international law.</p>
<p>&#8220;I think we have to be balanced about bringing in the outrages against Palestinians. Fifteen thousand Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air strikes, three-quarters of whom are women and children …&#8221; she said.</p>
<p>&#8220;And it’s horrible,&#8221; anchor Dana Bash agreed, stopping Jayapal cold: &#8220;But you don’t see Israeli soldiers raping Palestinian women.&#8221;</p>
