Paris Jackson hit back at negative comments from people online who said she looked “old” and “haggard” when she recently attended Paris Fashion Week.
It came after the 25-year-old actress/singer and daughter of the late singer Michael Jackson shared a video of herself on Instagram on the red carpet at the Christian Louboutin “Rouge Stiletto” Beauty Event, Fox News reported. In the clip, she wore a bronze-colored deep v-neck jumpsuit with high heels.
She captioned the post, “that’s too close.”

And the comments soon followed with things like, “What’s? What’s happened to her?” and “OMG she looks so old I’m not a hater I like her but I don’t remember the moment she took age that fast no matter what she’s beautiful.”
Another wrote, “She’s pretty but looks older then me lol,” the outlet noted.
While a fourth concluded, “Definitely look[s] older than 25.”
However, some of Jackson’s followers were quick to defend the singer.
“She doesn’t look ‘old’ Everyone is so just used to celebs looking like 1000 bees stung their swollen faces,” one person wrote. “She looks so pretty and I love her dress!”
Another added, “Relax people the light is causing a shadow on her face. Why is old such a label for undesirable beauty standards anyway!? She is beautiful and deserves to be treated with kindness.”
While a third wrote, “Oh my gosh, your face is beautiful!! Your features on your face are flawless!!! Gorgeous video…It’s insane to me, that grown adults come on here just to be mean and nasty!! A positive word can do so much!!! That’s the least we can do, build each other up, not tear anyone down. ESPECIALLY someone so young! Keep smiling mama!”
And the fashion model herself noticed the criticism and responded with a video showing her with messy hair and makeup, with a cheeky comment.

She captioned it, “This is no filter no makeup and regular lighting for the people that wrote really s**tty comments about how old and haggard I look in my last video.”
“I am literally 25,” she added. “Just young and haggard, thank you very much.”
