Orlando Terrorist: ‘Real Muslims Will Never Accept The Filthy Ways of the West’

After he had mowed down over a hundred innocent people at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Omar Mateen took to social media to make clear his intent: to help rid the world of “the filthy ways of the west.”

On his Facebook page, which was shutdown before the public had much of a chance to see it, Mateen posted a series of declarations and warnings, several of which Senate Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wisc.) revealed to Fox News Wednesday.

“The real muslims will never accept the filthy ways of the west,” declared Mateen, after he committed his heinous act of terrorism at Pulse nightclub.

“I pledge my alliance to (ISIS leader) abu bakr al Baghdadi..may Allah accept me,” he wrote.

“America and Russia stop bombing the Islamic state,” he said. “You kill innocent women and children by doing us taste the Islamic state vengeance.”

“In the next few days you will see attacks from the Islamic state in the usa,” he wrote in his final post.

Sen. Johnson’s investigative committee believes they have uncovered most if not all of Mateen’s posts. The chairman also sent a letter to Facebook inquiring about Mateen’s use of their site to search for and post radical material.

“It is my understanding that Omar Mateen used Facebook before and during the attack to search for and post terrorism-related content,” read Johnson’s letter. “According to information obtained by my staff, five Facebook accounts were apparently associated with Omar Mateen.”

“Besides looking for information on himself,” reports Fox, “Johnson noted Mateen used Facebook to search for information on the jihadist couple behind the Dec. 2 San Bernardino attack, used the search term “Baghdadi Speech,” and scouted for posts by local law enforcement and FBI.”

Mateen was an American-born citizen whose father, Seddique Mateen, was a refugee from Afghanistan who has openly expressed sympathies for the Taliban and anti-American sentiments via his satellite-broadcasted show. Mateen’s wife, Noor Salman, is currently being investigated for the role she played in the attack, having already admitted to authorities that she knew he was going to carry out an attack and helped him case locations.
