So it turns out that Donald Trump is not alone in having a lewd moment fortuitously recorded for posterity. CNN video footage has just emerged of Barack Obama back in 2008 “sexually harassing” female reporters by deliberately showing them his erection.
The video was captured by CNN back in 2008 while then-Senator Obama was first running for the highest office in the land. The 1:38 clip (below) features Obama seeming to proudly show off his erection to giggling female reporters, even giving them a full 360-degree display of his manhood while they cheer him on.
Grabien provides a helpful play-by-play of Obama’s “chauvinistic performance”:
Aboard a campaign flight, then-Senator Obama is talking on a cellphone as he arises from his seat; nearby a female reporter catches a glance of something that makes her uncomfortable, sending her skirmishing to the back of the plane.
Obama, rather than downplay the awkward display, instead plays it up, positioning himself so the gathered reporters have little choice but to take in his chauvinistic performance.
Meanwhile, a female voice can be heard ordering everyone to sit down, ostensibly so they can get a better look. The gathered female reporters laugh at the scene, further encouraging Obama’s bawdy behavior.
The same day his lewd 2008 video emerged, Obama appeared at a rally for Hillary Clinton in which he lectured Trump supporters, particularly Christians, who found Trump’s statements about women “disgusting” but were willing to vote for him nonetheless.
“The fact that now you’ve got people saying, ‘Well, we strongly disapprove. We really disagree. We find those comments disgusting. But we’re still endorsing him. We still think he should be president.’ That doesn’t make sense to me,” Obama told a large crowd in Greensboro, NC Tuesday. “Now I hear then some people saying, ‘Well, I’m a Christian so I’m all about forgiveness because nobody’s perfect,’ Well, that is true. I am certainly not perfect … and I, too, believe in forgiveness and redemption, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to elect the person president.”
While President Obama enjoys his final few months in office touring the country and congratulating himself on his presidential legacy, the Republican Party is in full-on crisis mode, with Trump going nuclear after scores of Republicans abandoned ship following the release of the “grab them by the p****” tape. Meanwhile the Democratic presidential nominee has been able to largely sit back as the media runs interference over her email scandal and her role in her husband’s sordid sexual affairs.
And so the election cycle continues its shameless romp through the gutter, with a heavy helping of Democratic double standards to make it all even less tolerable.
This article has been expanded to include Obama’s comments to Trump supporters.
