In a series of defensive and divisive statements, President Barack Obama has made clear to the world that conservatives are more deserving of his wrath than barbaric Islamic State terrorists, mocking Republicans repeatedly for calling for a pause to his plan to import 10,000 Syrian “refugees.” One of his petty barbs included accusing those who wanted to be more safe than sorry regarding Syrian refugees as being afraid of “widows and orphans.”
“Apparently they are scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America,” Obama said of the GOP Wednesday morning in the Philippines. “At first, they were too scared of the press being too tough on them in the debates. Now they are scared of three year old orphans. That doesn’t seem so tough to me.”
