<p>A homeless woman who was allegedly raped at knifepoint by an illegal migrant in New York City revealed how her attacker taunted her during the brutal attack.</p>
<p>David Davon-Bonilla, 24, from Nicaragua, allegedly approached the 46-year-old homeless woman around 9 pm on Sunday near the Coney Island boardwalk in Brooklyn.</p>
<p>Bonilla is said to have offered her food and coffee in exchange for sex, and when she refused, he grabbed her, threw her to the ground, and raped her while holding a knife to her throat.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, his companion, Leovando Moreno, 37, from Mexico, attacked the woman’s boyfriend, Ray Ramsammy, 34, with a metal pipe as he tried to save her, police said.</p>
<p>The woman <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13740021/woman-raped-migrant-coney-island-new-york-boardwalk.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> The Daily Mail that one of her attackers had called out, &#8220;she&#8217;s enjoying it.&#8221;</p>
<p>She was smothered and attacked for over 45 minutes, the woman claimed.</p>
<p>&#8220;It was attempted murder,&#8221; she told the outlet. &#8220;He was putting a knife to my throat, was slashing my face, choking me&#8230; it&#8217;s attempted murder.&#8221;</p>

<p>The woman&#8217;s boyfriend had stepped away to grab a coffee when the attack began and returned to find his girlfriend being assaulted.</p>
<p>&#8220;He picked up a knife and tried to stab me,&#8221; Ramsammy told The Daily Mail. &#8220;And then he hit me with a pipe&#8230; and then the other guy, he picked up a brick and pelted me in my back.&#8221;</p>
<p>He ran to the street to ask the public to call 911, but no one did, he said.</p>
<p>&#8220;Everybody was watching him with a knife in his hand, still trying to stab me,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I was telling them, &#8216;somebody call the police!'&#8221;</p>
<p>The woman sat with her head in her hands and shook her head as her boyfriend recounted the story. She added that the men seemed to want to get her to a vehicle to kidnap her.</p>
<p>She said she is afraid the attacker who raped her is &#8220;going to kill somebody&#8221; and hopes both men &#8220;get a long time&#8221; behind bars.</p>
<p>The couple have only known each other for a few weeks, and both live in a homeless encampment under the Coney Island boardwalk, a dangerous area littered with drug paraphernalia and alcohol cans.</p>
<p>Nearby where the attack occurred is a hotel housing illegal migrants.</p>
<p>Bonilla was reportedly charged with first-degree rape, second-degree assault, first-degree sexual abuse, and menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.</p>
<p>Bonilla entered the U.S. illegally through Eagle Pass, Texas, in December 2022, Department of Homeland Security sources <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/08/12/us-news/nyc-migrants-allegedly-raped-woman-at-knifepoint-in-coney-island/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> the New York Post.</p>
<p>He previously lived at a La Quinta Hotel in Brooklyn that had been turned into a migrant shelter.</p>
<p>In April of last year, just four months after crossing into the country illegally, Bonilla was accused of raping and sodomizing a 34-year-old woman at the La Quinta, allegedly pulling her hair and holding her down as he assaulted her. He was charged with sexual abuse and unlawful imprisonment, among other charges. He pled guilty in that case.</p>
<p>The other migrant, Moreno, was also arrested and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.</p>
