On Wednesday night, a huge mass of anti-Israel agitators disrupted a rally for Vice President Kamala Harris in New York City, holding a photo of terrorist Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar, yelling “normalize the intifada,” and interrupting speeches. They then targeted an after-party at a restaurant, where they set off smoke bombs and fought with police.
New York City Democratic Mayor Eric Adams addressed the agitators, saying weakly, “I don’t mind that you want to raise your voice. … Hold onto all of that anger until after November. November you need to be laser-focused on one thing,” according to POLITICO. New York Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul was also in attendance at the rally.

Two weeks ago, pro-Hamas protesters held a disturbing demonstration in Times Square, with the waving of a Hamas flag, accusing Israel of “raping children,” chanting “From New York to Gaza, globalize the intifada,” “There is no God but Allah,” and “Raise the banner of the revolution.”

Harris has displayed her own anti-Israel attitude for years.
In September 2021, Vice President Kamala Harris supported a student who accused Israel of committing “ethnic genocide” against Palestinians, as The Jerusalem Post reported.
“You brought up how the power of the people and demonstrations and organizing is very valuable in America,” the student stated. “But I see that over the summer there have been protests and demonstrations in astronomical numbers standing with Palestine. But then just a few days ago, there were funds allocated to continue backing Israel, which hurts my heart because it’s ethnic genocide and displacement of people, the same that happened in America, and I’m sure you’re aware of this.”
Harris said she was “glad” the student spoke up. “This is about the fact that your voice, your perspective, your experience, your truth cannot be suppressed, and it must be heard,” Harris added.
In October 2023, after a student at Northern Arizona University accused Israel of genocide and cited false news reports saying Israel had bombed a Christian hospital and killed 500 people, Harris noted that Hamas started the conflict but concluded by saying, “I appreciate your leadership.”

In March, Harris warned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to mount an offensive in Rafah to finish its war against Hamas. Speaking with Rachel Scott on ABC News’ “This Week,” Harris threatened, “We have been clear in multiple conversations and in every way that any major military operation in Rafah would be a huge mistake. … we’ve been very clear that it would be a mistake to move into Rafah with any type of military operation.”
When pressed about whether there would be consequences if Israel moves forward with eliminating Hamas inside Rafah, Harris responded: “Well, we’re going to take it one step at a time, but we’ve been very clear in terms of our perspective on whether or not that should happen.” When asked whether there would be consequences if Israel moved forward with the operation, Harris answered, “I am ruling out nothing.”
Roughly two weeks ago, Harris joined President Biden in a private call with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin after Israel killed multiple top terrorists in the region. The call came after Israel killed Fuad Shukr, Hezbollah’s top military commander.
