<p>In the latest display of California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom’s desperate attempts to lash out at conservative figures for publicity purposes, his press office stooped to attacking former Trump advisor Elon Musk by declaring his own child hates him.</p>

<p>The nasty attack from Newsom came after he had said in an interview with Ezra Klein, “I want to see trans kids. I have a trans godson,” boasting, “There’s no governor that’s done more pro trans legislation than I have.”</p>

<p>That clip went viral after the X site for the America PAC, which Musk founded, posted it.</p>

<p>Musk fired back, “I assume you’re referring to my son, Xavier, who has a tragic mental illness caused by the evil woke mind virus you push on vulnerable children. I love Xavier very much and hope he recovers. My daughters are Azure, Exa (she goes by Y) and Arcadia, and they do indeed love me very much.”</p>

<p>In July 2024, Musk <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/elon-musk-says-he-vowed-to-destroy-the-woke-mind-virus-after-he-was-tricked-into-allowing-his-son-to-transition">told <span style="font-weight: 400;">Dr. Jordan B. Peterson</span></a> that he was “tricked into” allowing his son Xavier to undergo gender procedures, saying his child was “killed” by the “woke mind virus.”</p>

<p>Musk called “gender-affirming care,” the Left’s description of the procedures, “a terrible euphemism.”</p>

<p>“It’s really child mutilation and sterilization,” Musk said. “It’s evil. You’re taking kids who are far below the age of consent. &#8230; It’s very possible for adults to manipulate children who are having an actual identity crisis into believing that they are the wrong gender.”</p>

<p>“I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys, Xavier. This was really before I had any understanding of what was going on, and we had COVID going on, so there was a lot of confusion. And I was told Xavier might commit suicide,” Musk recalled.</p>

<p>“It’s incredibly evil,” Musk said. “And I agree with you that the people that are promoting this should go to prison. &#8230; I was tricked into doing this. It wasn’t explained to me that puberty blockers are actually just sterilization drugs. I lost my son, essentially. They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead, so my son, Xavier, is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”</p>

<p>Newsom has made it abundantly clear how hypocritical he is on trans issues; speaking with the late Charlie Kirk last March, Newsom responded when asked about transgender-identifying athletes, “I think it’s an issue of fairness; I completely agree with you on that. It is an issue of fairness — it’s deeply unfair. &#8230; I am not wrestling with the fairness issue. I totally agree with you. I revere sports. So, the issue of fairness is completely legit.”</p>

<p>Yet last July, the Sacramento Bee <a href="https://www.sacbee.com/news/politics-government/capitol-alert/article310155150.html?utm_source=chatgpt.com">pointed out</a>, “California will not ban transgender athletes from competing in K-12 school sports or change its anti-discrimination policies to exclude them, becoming the second state after Maine to defy the Trump administration over the issue.”</p>

<p>Newsom’s press office mocked Education Secretary Linda McMahon’s order to eliminate any sports prizes awarded to transgender-identifying athletes and ban them, calling it “dramatic, fake, and completely divorced from reality.”</p>
