According to the Biden administration, drag shows are as American as apple pie.
This week, Fox News revealed that United States taxpayers’ have been funding “drag shows” in Ecuador to promote “diversity and inclusion efforts” via the State Department.
In late September, the State Department awarded a $20,600 grant to the non-profit Centro Ecuatoriano Norteamericano (CEN), Fox News’ Jessica Chasmar reported. That money will be used for “3 workshops,” “12 drag theater performances,” and a “2-minute documentary,” according to the grant’s description. The project runs until August 31, 2023.
Of course, the State Department exists to “protect and promote U.S. security, prosperity, and democratic values and shape an international environment in which all Americans can thrive.”
So what do men wearing lingerie and make-up while pretending to be grotesque women have to do with any of those goals?
Well, if you were to ask folks like Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) drag queens and their “freedom of expression is what America is all about.”

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) similarly praised these weirdos, saying, “The people who change what people think are artists and Drag Queens… It starts with you. You’re patriots. You are. You are. You are patriots. I’m so proud of you all. I’m so proud to live in this country with you.”

AOC usually derides the patriarchy. Yet it seems the only men she respects are the ones who make a mockery of femininity.
Other Democrats concur with that, and now the State Department’s official messaging is that drag shows are essential to spreading American values around the globe.
“The program will advance key U.S. values of diversity and the inclusion of LGBTQI+ communities as well as promote the acceptance of communities that are disproportionately affected by violence,” a State Department official told Newsweek.
In other words, if you disagree with these programs, you are an anti-American individual who wants violence.
That, of course, isn’t true, but if you wonder why the feds can’t just promote our founding ideals of freedom and equality — then you haven’t been paying attention.
For the Woke in charge, it is no longer enough to advance the idea that all men are created equal, endowed with inalienable rights from their Creator. America now has to push leftist social norms like the idea that drag queens should be celebrated.
You have to accept it, or you are branded a bigot.
Perhaps more shockingly, numerous communities throughout the U.S. applaud that sort of behavior — including when it is forced upon the most vulnerable among us.
Across the country, kids are subjected to “family-friendly” drag shows that feature promiscuous dancing in front of — and sometimes with — minors as adults clap along.
The scenes are always a hideous destruction of innocence. These atrocities are child abuse, but that doesn’t matter to Leftists.
What is important is that the entire globe accepts their worldview and idea of “diversity and inclusion.” Drag shows, according to the Biden administration, are part of the new set of American values.
