Country star Jason Aldean and wife Brittany Aldean dressed as fictional anchors Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningstone as they trolled singer Maren Morris and the left with their Halloween costume video.
In a clip shared on Instagram on Monday by the 45-year-old country star, fans see the couple sporting wigs as the two read pretend news stories from “Channel 4 News” from “Nash Vegas” while mocking themselves. It comes after Morris and others on the left attacked them over Brittany’s post about transgenderism.
“Good evening Nash Vegas and welcome to Channel 4 News,” Aldean said in character, as he introduced who he and Brittany were … “And we are here to bring you the news as always cause you know we are 80% of the time unbiased 100% of the time.”
“In our most unbiased story of the evening, tonight we tell a tale of a wannabe country artist and his wife, Brittany and Jason Aldean,” Brittany, as Veronica, shared. “… According to Brittany’s recent tweet she hates all animals. Based on the tweet that says, I love dogs. Sounds like a PR nightmare.”

“Now most of you may not know who Brittany and Jason Aldean are,” she added. “But if you like to Google, you could potentially find them on page five or six. [New York Post’s celebrity page is known as Page Six].”
“I actually found them on page 13, her and her bush-league country music artist of a husband just need to zip it,” Jason, as Burgundy, replied.
“Stay country Nashville,” the “Dirt Road Anthem” star closed out his segment.
And “stay woke everyone,” Brittany, as Veronica, added, repeatedly.
The comments come after Morris attacked Aldean’s wife over a reel she shared on Instagram in promotion of her new clothing line, “Don’t Tread On Our Kids.”
“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase,” Brittany captioned her post. “I love this girly life.”
Aldean responded to his wife’s post by writing in the comments, “Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out.”
Brittany then came under attack by several stars, including Morris, who suggested that the singer’s wife keep her mouth shut, as previously reported.
“It’s so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human?” Maren tweeted. “Sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”
Brittany released a long statement explaining, “Advocating for the genital mutilation of children under the disguise of love and calling it ‘gender affirming care’ is one of the worst evils.” The entirety of her statement can be read here. She later posted a message on social media that her words were “taken out of context.”
