Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who was named by a former Palestinian arch-terrorist as having secured funding for the brutal Palestinian terrorist attack at the 1972 Munich Olympics in which 11 Israel athletes were murdered, engendered harsh criticism after having claimed, as NBC News reported, that Israel had committed “50 Holocausts.”
The PLO leader would have gained sympathy if he had apologized for the terrorist attack on Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics 1972. Accusing Israel of „50 Holocausts“ instead is the most disgusting speech ever heard in the German Chancellery https://t.co/35O8QYcPYt

Abbas made his incendiary remarks after being asked as a Palestinian leader whether he planned to apologize to Israel and Germany for the 1972 attack, since the 50th anniversary comes next month.
The Palestinian terrorist group “Black September,” which was linked to the Fatah party headed by terrorist Yasser Arafat and Abbas, took the Israeli hostages at the Olympic Village on Sept. 5, 1972. According to The New York Times, the widow of one of the murdered Israeli athletes said photos showed the Palestinian terrorists castrated her husband during the attack.
Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) official Mohammed Oudeh, known as Abu Daoud, claimed to be the mastermind of the attack; in his autobiography, he named Abbas as having secured the funding, Slate noted.
The connection between “Black September” and Fatah was acknowledged in a March 13, 1973 telegram that then U.S. Secretary of State William Rogers sent to American embassies around the world. The telegram alluded to an intelligence brief prepared by the department and the CIA that stated, “The Black September Organization (BSO) is a cover term for Fatah’s terrorist operations executed by Fatah’s intelligence organization. . . . Fatah funds, facilities, and personnel are used in these operations. . . . For all intents and purposes no significant distinction now can be made between the BSO and Fatah.”
Abbas’ comment about “50 Holocausts” elicited reactions like these:
Olaf Scholz, the Federal Chancellor of Germany: “I am disgusted by the outrageous remarks made by Palestinian President Mahmoud #Abbas. For us Germans in particular, any relativization of the singularity of the Holocaust is intolerable and unacceptable. I condemn any attempt to deny the crimes of the Holocaust.”

Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid: “Mahmoud Abbas accusing Israel of having committed ‘50 Holocausts’ while standing on German soil is not only a moral disgrace, but a monstrous lie. Six million Jews were murdered in the Holocaust, including one and a half million Jewish children. History will never forgive him.”

Yonathan Arfi, president of the Representative Council of French Jewish Institutions: “France must firmly condemn the abject remarks of Mahmoud Abbas accusing Israel of ‘50 Holocausts.’ By wanting to nazify Israel, it defiles the memory of the victims of the Shoah and despises the work of memory carried out in Europe. It is a hateful revisionism to be denounced.”

The group Stop AntiSemitism: “6 million Jews – two out of every three in Europe – were massacred in the Holocaust. Meanwhile the Palestinian population has exploded in numbers. For Mahmoud Abbas to call the I/P conflict a ‘Holocaust’ is atrocious Holocaust inversion deemed antisemitic by IHRA.”

Former Miss Iraq Sarah Idan: “Mahmoud Abbas also accused Israel of committing ‘50 Holocausts’ against Palestinians. Yup you heard it right. 50 Holocausts. Imagine your whole cause is based on stealing terms from others; South African Apartheid and Jewish Holocaust.”

Even some Palestinians denounced Abbas:

Other responses:
Absolutely shameful. Mahmoud Abbas in Germany refuses to apologize for the Munich massacre (which he helped finance) and accuses Israel of “50 Holocausts” in what @ArminLaschet called the “most disgusting speech ever heard in the German Chancellery”

Mahmoud Abbas accusing Israel of committing "50 Holocausts" against the Palestinians in front of the German chancellor is as good as time as any to remind you that Abbas got his PhD in Holocaust Denial from a university in Moscow.

Utterly vile, reprehensible and pure Holocaust distortion and unhinged Jew hatred. Mahmoud Abbas underscoring beyond shadow of a doubt why there will never be peace, as long as he remains Palestinian leader! pic.twitter.com/1Rsv9mMgU5

From paying salaries to murderers of Jews to outright Holocaust distortion, can we put to rest once and for all that Mahmoud Abbas is any kind of 'partner for peace'. pic.twitter.com/brWMsJpRPz

Mahmoud Abbas is not a man of peace.
He is a Holocaust denialist.
He is a Jew hater.
He is a supporter of terrorism.https://t.co/eRGwzdJYZu

At a certain point, all the 2-state-solution supporters will have to deal with the fact that the man they pin their hopes on, the "moderate" Mahmoud Abbas is a Holocaust denying, Nazi-style Jew hater who is also a terrorist and an embezzler.
