<p style="font-weight: 400;">Melania Trump has turned down an invitation to meet with Jill Biden on Wednesday —  when President-elect Donald Trump will visit President Joe Biden — with sources reportedly close to Melania citing the FBI raiding Mar-a-Lago as a key reason why.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Melania did visit and toured the White House with then-first lady Michelle Obama after Trump won the 2016 election.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">“She ain’t going,” a source told <a href="https://nypost.com/2024/11/11/us-news/melania-trump-declines-to-meet-with-jill-biden-at-white-house-citing-mar-a-lago-raid-source/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The New York Post</a>. “Jill Biden’s husband authorized the FBI snooping through her underwear drawer. The Bidens are disgusting. &#8230;Jill Biden isn’t someone Melania needs to meet.”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The FBI executed a search warrant and raided the Trumps’ Florida Mar-a-Lago residence on August 8, 2022, as part of its investigation into Trump’s handling of presidential documents. Mr. Trump was at Trump Tower in New York City at the time.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">In September, Melania Trump posted a video on X in which she quoted the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which states, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated &#8230;”</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Melania stated that the FBI “rummaged through my personal belongings.” Asked if that made her angry, she <a href="https://www.facebook.com/SeanHannity/videos/melania-trump-mar-a-lago-raid-made-me-angry-it-was-invasion-of-privacy/411406728648329/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">recalled</a>, “Yeah, it made me angry. Yes. Invasion of privacy. The way it was done, I was really surprised. &#8230; I saw unpleasant stuff, that nobody wants to see it. And you get angry because, you know, nobody should be putting up with that kind of stuff. Some person, I don’t even know who, or how many people, they went through my stuff.”</p>
<p>Roughly one month after the FBI raid, Trump <a href="https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/109021143394347374" target="_blank" rel="noopener">wrote</a> on Truth Social, “I’ll soon be heading to the scene of the unwarranted, unjust, and illegal Raid and Break-In of my home in Florida, Mar-a-Lago. I’ll be able to see for myself the results of the unnecessary ransacking of rooms and other areas of the house. It has already been proven that so much has been wrongfully taken, it is not a &#8216;pretty thing.&#8217; So sad! The 4th Amendment, and much more, has been totally violated, a grave invasion of privacy. I will keep the American public informed on TRUTH!”</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Trump’s confidential documents case was <a href="https://apnews.com/article/trump-classified-documents-smith-c66d5ffb7ba86c1b991f95e89bdeba0c" target="_blank" rel="noopener">dismissed</a> in July by U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon.</p>
