<p>Megyn Kelly brought the receipts after host Don Lemon said that he didn&#8217;t think CNN &#8220;was ever liberal&#8221; as she blasted the CNN host for his &#8220;revisionist history&#8221; before playing a clip of his past comments.</p>
<p>During the Sirius XM &#8220;The Megyn Kelly Show&#8221; <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HyWrRdjEOLg" target="_blank" rel="noopener">podcast</a> on Wednesday, the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/megyn-kelly" target="_blank" rel="noopener">host</a> was joined by the guys from the &#8220;Ruthless&#8221; podcast — Josh Holmes, Michael Duncan, and John Ashbrook — and she played a clip of Lemon, on &#8220;The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,&#8221; disputing claims the network &#8220;was ever liberal.&#8221; In the video, Colbert noted reports about new CEO Chris Licht pushing the network to be &#8220;more centrist&#8221; and suggested that hosts were &#8220;not allowed to be liberal anymore.&#8221;</p>
<p>Kelly explained that when Lemon said CNN wants &#8220;only sensible Republicans&#8221; to come on the network, what he meant was &#8220;anti-MAGA and anti-[former President Donald] Trump.&#8221;</p>
<p>The host then repeated Lemon&#8217;s comments saracastically, saying, &#8220;they&#8217;ve never been liberal. See, they&#8217;ve always been above board, trying to hold people to account, right? Wasn&#8217;t that your experience watching CNN for the past six years?&#8221;</p>
<p>Holmes said during 2016, after Trump became president, he stopped making appearances on the network because he said he would be &#8220;castigated&#8221; on air if a person didn&#8217;t slam the administration.</p>
<p>The former Fox News host then played a long clip of comments Lemon made that contradicted his claim that he&#8217;s only ever shown &#8220;good journalism&#8221; and that he advocated for exchanges where people could &#8220;disagree without being disagreeable.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s one party, right now that&#8217;s not operating in fact,&#8221; Lemon said, &#8220;that has been misleading people and that is the Republican Party. &#8221;</p>
<p>In another set of clips Lemon said, &#8220;Republicans are doing something that is very dangerous for our society&#8221; and &#8220;There is no reason to believe the Republicans are going to start playing fairly and are going to start operating as a party of sanity.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;You voted for the person who the klan supported,&#8221; he added in another clip. &#8220;You voted for the person who Nazis support. You voted for the person who the alt right supports.&#8221;</p>
<p>Lemon continued in more clips, &#8220;You have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men,&#8221; and, &#8220;We have to stop coddling people when it comes to this and the vaccine saying &#8216;oh, you can&#8217;t shame them. You can&#8217;t call them stupid&#8217;&#8230; yes they are.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;There is bringing receipts and then there is bringing a CVS-length receipt, and that is what Megyn Kelly brought for us today,&#8221; Ashbrook replied as they all laughed.</p>
<p>&#8220;This is a joke and this is directly why that long clip is exactly why hundreds of employees are being laid off at CNN today, they abandoned their fealty to journalism,&#8221; Kelly explained.</p>
