<p>Meghan McCain called Gina Carano &#8220;un-cancelable&#8221; and wrote the reason is simply that the actress refused to allow Hollywood and the left to destroy her career.</p>
<p>In a <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10938133/Gina-Carano-cancelable-says-writes-MEGHAN-MCCAIN.html">Daily Mail article</a> published Tuesday, titled &#8220;Gina Carano is un-cancelable because she says so,&#8221;  the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/meghan-mccain-slams-biden-admin-for-baby-formula-shortage-says-officials-would-be-prepared-if-erectile-dysfunction-pills-were-at-risk">former cohost</a> of &#8220;The View&#8221; praised the <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/gina-carano-says-cancel-culture-is-dangerous-and-one-sided-reflects-on-firing-from-the-mandalorian">actress</a> — who was <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/cancel-culture">canceled</a> by Disney in February 2021 over social media posts the company deemed offensive. Her latest feature film with The Daily Wire is &#8220;<a href="https://www.dailywire.com/videos/terror-on-the-prairie">Terror On The Prairie</a>,&#8221; and McCain wrote that the actress is the &#8220;type of woman&#8221; she wants her daughter &#8220;to see in the movies and pop culture.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The best thing that my dad ever told me was, &#8216;if you want to have a birthday party, you better throw it yourself,&#8221; Carano told McCain. &#8220;Hollywood is just somewhere in California. And Hollywood is not art.&#8221;</p>
<p>McCain wrote about how <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/how-the-daily-wire-uncanceled-gina-carano-star-of-terror-on-the-prairie">Gina</a> went from being an MMA Fighter to an actress, starring in such movies as &#8220;Deadpool&#8221; and &#8220;Haywire&#8221; before landing the role of Cara Dune in Disney+ series &#8220;The Mandalorian.&#8221;</p>
<p>McCainn said when the actress decided to speak out publicly about &#8220;everything from social to political issues in America&#8221; that&#8217;s when things changed for her. And that &#8220;it was clear that she [Carano] was having her livelihood taken away from her for having the wrong politics,&#8221; she wrote.</p>
<p>Carano admitted that, at the time, the backlash against her was &#8220;so confusing.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t feel like I did anything wrong,&#8221; she said. &#8220;I understand now that there&#8217;s words that can be better used and that are certainly more sensitive. But if people read it now after a year or more has passed and they look at it and they think: &#8216;Wait a second, there&#8217;s no way you just canceled for that.'&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;If this can happen to me then this can happen to anyone,&#8221; she added. &#8220;We have kids that don&#8217;t need to go through all of this. We need to show these kids that we can have conversations.&#8221;</p>
<p>Carano explained that she thinks people will look back at this time — which McCain referred to as this &#8220;oppressive, hyper-woke environment&#8221; — and wonder what they did to make it better.</p>
<p>&#8220;Some of us are going to be very proud of what we have done here,&#8221; the actress shared. &#8220;A lot of people are going to feel a little bit shame for not participating in making this world a better place than it was.&#8221;</p>
<p>And when she asked the actress if she thinks she will return to Hollywood, Carano said &#8220;there needs to be some accountability for there to be healing in America and in the entertainment industry… I think the head of the snake is going to have to get cut off a couple of these massive corporations.&#8221;</p>
<p>Carano said &#8220;the future&#8221; is The Daily Wire — who is giving the audience the chance to be heard.</p>
<p>&#8220;The more everybody starts creating, like we did with &#8216;Terror on the Prairie,&#8217; the more the mainstream will have to start including us, because people are flocking to it,&#8221; the actress said. &#8220;We&#8217;re wriggling free and they have to include us.&#8221;</p>
