Pop singer and actress Mandy Moore and her critically-acclaimed singer-songwriter husband, Ryan Adams, are getting a divorce after six years of marriage.
No, not “Summer of ’69” Bryan Adams. The younger one, without the ‘B’, who sings, “When the Stars Go Blue.”
Apparently the two are fighting like cats and dogs – over the couples’ eight cats and dogs. Moore, 31, is requesting $37,000 a month in spousal support from Adams, 41, along with help in caring for their numerous pets.
Via People.com, “Although I love our pets, it is overwhelming for me to take care of eight of them all of the time,” Moore wrote [in a petition to the court], adding she even had to “cancel a prior work engagement because my housekeeper was ill and unable to stay with our pets while I traveled for work … Without Ryan’s help caring for the house and our pets, I have not been able to work as much as I would like.”
