“The Celebration Tour will take us on Madonna’s artistic journey through four decades and pays respect to the city of New York where her career in music began,” a message on the “Vogue” hitmaker’s website read.
She will be “highlighting her unmatched catalog of music from the past 40-plus years,” the message added.
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” Madonna shared.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, January 20. It begins on July 15 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and the leg continues with stops in Detroit, Chicago, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and other cities.
The next leg starts in the fall with 11 dates in Europe, including London, Barcelona, Paris, Stockholm, and Amsterdam.
The “Celebration” tour is expected to feature several of Madonna’s 38 hits that made the Billboard Hot 100, such as “Like a Virgin,” “Justify My Love,” and “Borderline.”
