Luke Bryan canceled another show on his “Country on Tour” as he struggles with getting his voice back after canceling or postponing multiple concerts before returning to the stage over the weekend.
The 47-year-old country singer posted a message on X on Sunday breaking the bad news to his fans.
“Dear Brandon, MS I am regretfully going to have to cancel my show there tonight,” Bryan wrote. “Under doctor advisement after taking 6 days off to heal I attempted to sing at both shows Thursday and Saturday and it was a struggle.”
“Every show I sing I’m setting my voice back,” he added. “I will continue to do everything I can to get better. Please know how much you mean to me and how heartbreaking this is to do. -Luke.”

The cancellation came after he performed at a sold-out show in Nashville, where he informed the crowd his illness was nothing more than a “head cold,” USA Today noted.
On Monday, he wrote on social media: “Last couple shows have not been easy to get through but I gave it my all. Thankfully my friends and family were there to support. Thank you fans for showing up in a big way.”
There is no information on his website about whether he will make it to his next scheduled concert in Cincinnati on Thursday.
Bryan appeared at the show Saturday in Nashville and one last Thursday after he axed three shows the previous weekend.
Hours before he was set to take the stage in Utah on August 4, he posted a message that he had to postpone the show.
“Dear Salt Lake fans, for the past couple of weeks I’ve been battling a head cold,” Bryan wrote. “I have been spending those days warming up and singing and have been able to perform. Today I have followed the same routine trying to not give up but I am just not getting better. I truly can not… — Luke Bryan .”
The tour is set to wrap up at the end of October, with the final show taking place in Charleston, South Carolina.
