That includes three major country stars who all referenced the viral moment that’s been captivating social media ever since. 
The drama occurred during a show in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Wednesday night. That’s when Andy Byron, CEO of the tech company Astronomer, was caught embracing the company’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, who dramatically turned away from the camera once they realized they’d been seen.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin reacted to the couple’s suspicious behavior, saying, “Uh oh, what? Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”
Country star Morgan Wallen <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@tcmyth/video/7528690496730942751">joked</a> about the viral clip during a concert on Friday in Glendale, Arizona. The “Last Night” singer said from the stage, “Anybody in here with their side chick or whatever, I think you’re safe here,” as the crowd went wild.
“I don’t condone cheating… anymore,” Wallen added.

Singer Jason Aldean also used the kiss cam scandal as a way to promote his own show, <a href="https://tasteofcountry.com/jason-aldean-jokes-coldplay-kiss-cam-scandal/">writing</a> in his Instagram Stories, “Bring your girl to the Aldean show before her CEO does. Just saying.” The post included the infamous image of Byron and Cabot embracing just before they realize they’re caught.
Luke Bryan also joked about the incident during his July 17 concert in Greenville, South Carolina. “Who’s with their secretary tonight?” the singer <a href="https://www.tiktok.com/@cwtolson/video/7528453806326025486">asked</a> the crowd. 
“Hey, it’s got to be somebody way up there,” he said, indicating some seats in the distance. “Oh, yeah! There they are,” Bryan said. “Do not get caught tonight!”
The Coldplay kiss cam moment has dominated the news cycle since late last week, with social media users obsessing over the details and making a plethora of memes about it. Since the news broke, Byron has stepped down from his role as CEO at Astronomer. 
The company released a lengthy <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/moving-forward-astronomer-pete-dejoy-zygze/">statement</a> on Monday that did not clarify any details about the incident, but a previous LinkedIn post confirmed that they were launching an investigation into the conduct of their employees.

Country music stars and their fans were quick to express their support for former President Donald Trump over the weekend, some just hours after he was shot during an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
Luke Bryan paused his concert in Cincinnati on Saturday night to talk about the images of Trump with blood on his face and a raised fist, and the crowd went wild.
In a video that surfaced on <a href="https://x.com/VoteBidenOut/status/1812628943750545420">X</a>, the 47-year-old spoke to the crowd hours after the former president had been shot in the ear during his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“Trump survived an assassination attempt!” Bryan said, as the crowd started chanting, “USA, USA.&#8221;
“Have you all seen the pictures?” the singer added, as the chants got louder and louder. “It was a crazy day.”

The “Buy Dirt” hitmaker wasn’t the only country singer who talked about the attempted assassination of the former president over the weekend.
<a href="https://tasteofcountry.com/cody-johnson-trump-shooting/">Singer Cody Johnson</a> spoke to his crowd in Chicago less than an hour after Trump was shot.
“The fact that any American citizen would think what they did today would solve a problem in this country is absolutely disgusting,&#8221; Johnson said, as the crowd cheered.
&#8220;You wanna solve a problem in this country on Election Day? Go in there and vote for who you want. You know why?&#8221; he added. &#8220;Before you were born, an American soldier died for you to have the right to disagree with somebody else in this country.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;m tired of the hatred. I’m tired of the division,&#8221; Johnson continued. &#8220;I&#8217;m tired of people talking about Trump and Biden. Let me tell you something. Country music stars Luke Bryan and Chris Janson celebrated a move by Tennessee after it passed a law protecting musicians against works of music using their voice created by <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/maybe-we-really-should-be-scared-to-death-of-artificial-intelligence" target="_blank" rel="noopener">artificial intelligence</a>.
On Thursday, Bryan and Janson were among those who joined <a href="https://x.com/USATODAY/status/1771214471798624639?s=20">Tennessee Governor Bill</a> Lee who signed the ELVIS Act &#8212; Ensuring Likeness Voice and Image Security Act &#8212; which protects artists from the unauthorized use of their voice, name, image, and likeness.
&#8220;What an amazing stance or precedent to set for the state of Tennessee to get in front of this, to be the leaders of this,&#8221; Bryan told the crowd at the Nashville honky tonk. &#8220;And to show artists like myself &#8230; that our state protects us and what we are about, and what we work so hard for.&#8221;
&#8220;I&#8217;ve just gotten to where stuff comes in of my voice on my phone, and I can&#8217;t tell it&#8217;s not me,&#8221; the country singer added, per the <a href="https://www.tennessean.com/story/entertainment/music/2024/03/21/elvis-act-tennessee-gov-lee-signs-act-musicians-ai/73019388007/">Tennessean</a>.

In a <a href="https://www.tn.gov/governor/news/2024/3/21/photos--gov--lee-signs-elvis-act-into-law.html">press release</a>, Lee reflected on how the old law only dealt with name, image, and likeness, but this new one &#8220;specifically address new, personalized generative AI cloning models and services that enable human impersonation and allow users to make unauthorized fake works in the image and voice of others.&#8221;
Speaking at the bill signing, Mitch Glazier, Chairman and CEO of the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), praised the bill.
&#8220;I thought that this bill did a great job of giving guidance about what those First Amendment protections are, but very importantly, it said if it&#8217;s protected by the First Amendment, that&#8217;s fine,&#8221; Glazier said. &#8220;But if it&#8217;s not protected by the First Amendment, Tennessee is going to act to protect artists. I thought that was a great line.&#8221;
The law, which becomes the first one of its kind in the country, will allow artists and license holders to sue for damages, USA Today noted. And those who are violation of the law can be charged with a Class A misdemeanor.

Despite Bryan&#8217;s jovial attitude he admitted things got &#8220;tense&#8221; up in the air.
&#8220;Well we took off and it was so cold,&#8221; the “American Idol&#8221; judge said. &#8220;In St. Louis it&#8217;s like, 16 degrees, wind was blowing 40 miles an hour. Some of the instruments on the plane were not (working)…so we had to turn and land. And yeah, it was a little tense.&#8221;

Aldean described just how scary the situation became.
&#8220;Our plane, we thought, was gonna fall out of the sky,&#8221; Aldean said, as the two revealed the forced landing resulted in them renting a car to get back.
&#8220;Now we&#8217;re on I-55, at a Dairy Queen, we&#8217;re getting some chicken fingers, I just peed beside the road, and Jason&#8217;s the driver,&#8221; Bryan said. 
Aldean replied, &#8220;Because I don&#8217;t trust you to drive.&#8221;
The two concluded the video with sharing how they still had about an hour-and-a-half drive back and seemed noticeably relieved to be out of that plane.

&#8220;Dear Brandon, MS I am regretfully going to have to cancel my show there tonight,&#8221; Bryan wrote. &#8220;Under doctor advisement after taking 6 days off to heal I attempted to sing at both shows Thursday and Saturday and it was a struggle.&#8221;

The cancellation came after he performed at a sold-out show in Nashville, where he informed the crowd his illness was nothing more than a &#8220;head cold,&#8221; <a href="https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/music/2023/08/15/luke-bryans-country-on-tour-singer-canceled-concerts/70593803007/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">USA Today</a> noted.

&#8220;American Idol&#8221; judge <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/american-idol-judge-luke-bryan-praises-contestant-for-not-being-scared-to-share-your-faith" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Luke Bryan</a> came to the defense of fellow judge <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/katy-perry-gets-booed-on-american-idol-over-her-criticism-of-another-contestant" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Katy Perry</a> following a season filled with backlash against her for her criticism and comments towards participants on the reality show.
The 46-year-old country singer said he and the other judges get &#8220;set up&#8221; to fall on their &#8220;sword&#8221; when they critique contestants as he praised Perry for putting herself out there and &#8220;trying to have fun.&#8221;
&#8220;Katy Perry&#8217;s been dealing with stuff like that her whole career,&#8221; Bryan told <a href="https://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/katy-perry-defended-fellow-american-idol-judge-luke-bryan-after-harsh-fan-criticism-we-get-set-up" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Fox News</a>. &#8220;We all get it… I mean, we&#8217;re judging kids that people at home fall in love with. So, we&#8217;re not gonna bat 1,000 as judges.&#8221;

&#8220;I think we get set up,&#8221; he added. &#8220;As judges, you know, we kinda fall on the sword a lot of times. And get set up to where people can get very vocal on socials and stuff. My thing is, I think when me and Lionel [Richie] and Katy sit down at the desk, in our hearts, we&#8217;re doing the best we can.&#8221;
&#8220;Katy gets picked on for going out and trying to have fun making a TV show,&#8221; the country singer continued. &#8220;You can&#8217;t be so safe in the moment that you&#8217;re so homogenized, you can&#8217;t ever go for a joke. Or go for a fun moment. Sometimes you just gotta say stuff. &#8230; It may be my year next year. &#8230; It makes me appreciate her even more, just how big of a scale she&#8217;s had to deal with that her whole career.&#8221;
The comments came after the audience loudly booed the &#8220;Fireworks&#8221; singer after she criticized contestant Nutsa Buzaladze&#8217;s attire during the show.
It came after Buzaladze took to the stage and gave a widely praised performance of Grace Potter and the Nocturnals&#8217; &#8220;Paris (Ooh La La).&#8221; She wore a silver mini dress and sparkling high-heeled boots as she danced and rocked the stage.

When it came to Perry&#8217;s turn to comment, she said, &#8220;Nutsa, every time you take the stage, it&#8217;s like you glitter bomb the stage. Listen, I think that one thing I personally would like to see from you is not one piece of glitter the next time. I know that&#8217;s gonna be hard.&#8221;
In response, the audience started booing.
During another episode, <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/katy-perry-accused-of-bullying-american-idol-contestant">Perry</a> was accused of &#8220;mom-shaming&#8221; contestant Sara Beth Liebe, a mother of three. Some fans said Perry was rude to Liebe after the contestant revealed her singing experience was basically the &#8220;church choir.&#8221;
&#8220;Is this your dream?&#8221; Perry asked Liebe, who appeared rattled and simply replied, &#8220;Um.&#8221;
&#8220;If it&#8217;s not your dream, you might need to leave because there&#8217;s a lot of dreams behind you,&#8221; Perry added.
