London Mayor Sadiq Khan Angered Over Trump’s Planned Visit

   DailyWire.com

President Trump announced that he will officially be visiting the U.K. in July, which will be on Friday the 13th after a stop in Brussels for a summit of NATO leaders.

London’s first Muslim mayor, Sadiq Khan, issued a warning to the President on Twitter that he could face angry protests should he come to London.

“If he comes to London, President Trump will experience an open and diverse city that has always chosen unity over division and hope over fear,” tweeted Khan.

“He will also no doubt see that Londoners hold their liberal values of freedom of speech very dear.”

As noted by The Sun, Khan has previously said President Trump “should not get a state visit when he comes.”

London’s Mayor Khan has been in the news recently by calling for stricter “knife control” policies in the city of London, where, despite having a near-complete gun ban, the murder rate has surpassed that of New York City.

Since making an enemy of President Trump, Khan claims he has been victim to abuse online. Most recently, he used his abuse on Twitter as a springboard to instruct Silicon Valley on why they should regulate “hate speech” online.
