Rush Limbaugh spent a segment of his talk radio show Tuesday addressing the response of the Democratic Party’s old guard to their new “rising star,” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and her fellow “fresh faces” in the House. That response: “legitimate panic.”
“I think the Democrats, folks, are losing control of who and what they are, and I think they’ve been gobsmacked by it,” said Limbaugh. “I don’t think they saw this coming. I don’t think they saw the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez crowd coming, the Ilhan Omar crowd, [Rashida] Tlaib. They didn’t see it coming, partly because it’s generational. So they’re in a little bit of a quandary.”
