<p style="font-weight: 400;">A lesbian couple at a Barcelona LGBTQ spa were <a href="https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15863411/Jewish-lesbian-couple-thrown-Spanish-LGTBQ-sauna-customers-saw-Star-David-necklace.html">thrown out</a> onto the street — all because one of them dared to wear a Star of David pendant.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The incident took place during a private event at Sauna Thermas, a venue that ironically boasts on its website that it &#8220;welcome[s] everybody.&#8221;</p>

<p style="font-weight: 400;">Video captured by the victims and posted by <a href="https://www.dailymail.com/news/article-15863411/Jewish-lesbian-couple-thrown-Spanish-LGTBQ-sauna-customers-saw-Star-David-necklace.html">the Daily Mail</a> shows a tense interrogation by an event organizer from the group Bolleras al Vapor. &#8220;Are you a Zionist person?&#8221; the organizer demanded.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;Why did you ask me that question? Because I&#8217;m wearing a Jewish star?&#8221; the American couple replied.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Another woman quickly chimed in with semantic gymnastics: &#8220;The question is not Jewish, it&#8217;s Zionist.&#8221;</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">When the couple tried to defuse the situation, offering to lock away their phones and promising they just wanted to enjoy themselves, the woke gatekeepers doubled down.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">&#8220;Free Palestine, please leave,&#8221; a woman barked in the footage. &#8220;You&#8217;re not welcome, go.&#8221;</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">The leftist bullies even threatened to call the police on the married couple. As they walked away in utter disbelief, one of the women remarked sarcastically, &#8220;Welcome to Barcelona.&#8221;</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Sauna Thermas has since gone into <span style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">damage-control mode, <a href="https://x.com/SaunaThermas/status/2061168492301173223?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E2061168492301173223%7Ctwgr%5Eedaf77bf1cfb32dd2617d40a68307c460aa20dc3%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailymail.com%2Fnews%2Farticle-15863411%2FJewish-lesbian-couple-thrown-Spanish-LGTBQ-sauna-customers-saw-Star-David-necklace.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">publicly condemning</a> the incident on X, terminating its relationship with Bolleras al Vapor, and stating that it</span> &#8220;reject[s] any form of antisemitism.&#8221; Israel’s Foreign Ministry also blasted the attack, writing: &#8220;Targeting Jews because of Jewish symbols &#8230; is blatant antisemitism.&#8221;</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">While the spa blames rogue organizers, the reality is that Spain has fast become a hotbed for anti-Jewish hostility, driven by a radical left-wing government coalition.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Just this year, vandals <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/over-20-jewish-graves-desecrated-in-barcelona-cemetery/">desecrated Jewish graves</a> at Barcelona&#8217;s Les Corts cemetery. <span style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;">Additionally, in February, three elderly Israeli women, including a 91-year-old Holocaust survivor, were <a href="https://eurojewcong.org/news/communities-news/spain/madrid-museum-launches-investigation-after-women-ejected-for-wearing-jewish-symbols/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">expelled</a> from the Reina Sofia Museum when they had a Star of David necklace and an Israeli flag.</span> The ladies were met with insults, including the accusation that they were “crazy child killers,” “murderers,” and “genocidal maniacs.” In 2024, the museum hosted a radical program titled &#8220;From the River to the Sea,&#8221; while Barcelona&#8217;s city council <a href="https://www.timesofisrael.com/barcelona-ends-friendship-agreement-with-tel-aviv-over-gaza-war/">severed ties</a> with its twin city, Tel Aviv, in 2025.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Politically, Spain has led a vicious European crusade against Israel, halting arms transfers and even blocking ships carrying weapons to Israel from docking at Spanish ports.</p>
<p style="font-weight: 400;">Experts say this political extremism is fueled by deep-seated prejudice. In a 2021 essay published by the German Federal Agency for Civic Education, sociologist Alejandro Baer <a href="https://www.bpb.de/themen/antisemitismus/dossier-antisemitismus/328588/antisemitism-in-spain/">wrote</a>:</p>
