Transgender actor Laverne Cox celebrated a “Barbie doll modeled” in honor of the star’s 50th birthday on May 29, which is part of in the company’s tribute collection.

The LGBTQ activist and 49-year-old actor’s doll’s big reveal took place Wednesday morning during NBC’s “Today” show, where Cox joined the hosts to show off the doll wearing a red full-length gown that strips off to reveal a strapless bodysuit, the outlet reported.

“It’s been a dream for years to work with Barbie to create my own doll,” Cox shared in a statement with Today Parents. “I can’t wait for fans to find my doll on shelves and have the opportunity to add a Barbie doll modeled after a transgender person to their collection.”

The “Orange Is the New Black” star’s appearance on the morning show — where the actor’s Barbie is being highlighted, as well as on the outlet’s “Parents” section — is just another example of the continued push of LGBTQ agenda by members of the media. One story we found that can be seen on the “Parents” site includes a headline, “New American Family: When your spouse comes out as gay.”

And it wasn’t just the “Today” show — it appeared like every major Entertainment outlet or large network’s headline joined in congratulating Mattel on making the trans modeled Barbie. Some of the headlines read: “Laverne Cox Makes History By Inspiring the first Trans Barbie Doll,” “Transgender icon and ‘trailblazer’ Laverne Cox gets her own Barbie,” “Laverne Cox Gets Her Own Barbie Before Her Birthday — and Calls It a ‘Full-Circle’ Moment.

The move by Mattel follows what seems to be an endless encouragement from companies and those in media, education, TV, etc., to push and normalize transgender ideology. One such example is Desmond is Amazing, a drag kid, born Desmond Napoles, who has been featured on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” the BBC, and in more than 100 publications, shows, etc. In a clip from 2020 in the New York Post, Napoles shared that he’s been going to Pride parades since he was four years old.
