“Lady Ballers” marks the biggest launch in DailyWire+ history, according to Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing.
“Lady Ballers” is a feature length comedy lampooning transgender ideology and the leftist push to make room for men who identify as women in women’s sports. The Daily Wire premiered the movie on DailyWire+ on Friday night.

Less than 24 hours after the film was released on The Daily Wire’s platform, the movie racked up over 1,000 reviews on the movie review forum Rotten Tomatoes, earning a 97% approval rating.
“Lady Ballers” tells the story of a down-on-his-luck former high school basketball coach named Rob, played by Daily Wire co-founder Jeremy Boreing, who will do anything to win — in this case, teaching his team of men radical modern gender theory and leading them to identify as women in order to brutally dominate multiple women’s sports.

“We are thrilled about it,” Boreing told Dr. Gad Saad during an appearance on “The Saad Truth” podcast on Friday. “It’s truly a uniquely Daily Wire project. It stars all of the Daily Wire’s hosts. It was written by employees of the Daily Wire. It’s our most Daily Wire thing we’ve ever done.”
During the podcast, Boreing said The Daily Wire faced some additional adversity to making the movie because of the topic it addressed: transgender ideology.
“When we first made the film, we reached out to a lot of the actors who’ve asked to work with us in the past,” Boreing said. “Some of them are actors who have already been canceled and have said ‘we’ll do anything to work with the Daily Wire.'”
“But when we put this movie in front of them, even they were too afraid,” he added. “The already canceled actors were too afraid to get involved. Which is understandable. This issue is sort of a religious issue on the Left right now. But the upside to those actors turning us down is that it really became a true Daily Wire production.”
Boreing told podcaster Tim Pool during an appearance on “Timcast” last week that The Daily Wire kept the filming of the movie secret to avoid sabotage from activists.
“One of the things people said to me all day today, in fact, one of the people here at your place said, ‘How did we not know about this?’ Well, we went out of our way to make sure people didn’t know about it, in particular with ‘Lady Ballers,’” Boreing told Pool. “We knew if people knew about it, they would find a way to stop us.”
“The whole time we were making the film, we were [using] pseudonyms. We called it ‘Coach Miracle’ in all the written material during the production. Everyone is out to stop the kind of work that we are doing,” he said.
