Kourtney Kardashian and husband rocker Travis Barker have welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, after the reality star had to undergo emergency fetal surgery in September.
Two sources confirmed to People magazine on Monday that the 44-year-old reality TV star and the Blink-182 drummer are indeed parents following speculation she had given birth. The rumors were sparked by reports last week that at least one member of the Kardashian-Jenner family was seen visiting the hospital.
One source told Entertainment Tonight that the new parents are feeling “grateful.”

“They recognize that the circumstances could have been a lot different, so they are feeling extra appreciative and grateful that everyone is safe, happy, and healthy,” the source reportedly said. “That is what’s most important to them.”
Kardashian and Barker tied the knot in 2022, and she announced that they were expecting their first kid together at one of her husband’s concerts in June. Since then, Kardashian has documented her pregnancy on Instagram.
Weeks before the reality star gave birth, she opened up about the urgent fetal surgery she underwent.

“I will be forever grateful to my incredible doctors for saving our baby’s life,” Kardashian captioned her post. “I am eternally grateful to my husband who rushed to my side from tour to be with me in the hospital and take care of me afterwards, my rock.”
“And to my mom, thank you for holding my hand through this,” she added. “As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery.”
“I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear,” Kardashian continued. “I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant. Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing.”
The reality star also has three children with her ex, Scott Disick. Barker has two children with his ex-wife, Shanna Moakler.
