Kim Kardashian said the harshest critic she deals with when it comes to what she wears is her and ex-husband Kanye West’s 8-year-old daughter North West.
“North is very opinionated when it comes to what I’m wearing,” the 41-year-old reality star shared during Vogue’s Forces of Fashion conference, reported the outlet in a piece published Tuesday.
“She’ll always complain when I’m wearing too much black,” she added. “I showed up at her school on Valentine’s Day wearing head-to-toe pink, and she got so excited she ran over and hugged me. [Of course] she opened my coat, saw the black lining, and says ‘Mom, you’re still wearing black.’”

The SKIMS founder has spoken in the past about how her daughter takes after her 44-year-old rapper father and is very outspoken.
“She [North] definitely has Kanye’s outgoing personality,” the Kardashian shared in 2018, reported Entertainment Tonight. “And will say whatever is on her mind no matter what it is or who it might offend.”
“And she’s also really calm and sweet like me, sometimes,” she added.
In 2019, West called out his then-reality star wife during a “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” episode over the sexy outfits she wears, specifically the wet nude-looking Mugler dress she wore to the Met Gala, as reported previously by The Daily Wire.
“The corset, underwear, all of that vibe, I just feel like I went through this transition from being a rapper, looking at all these girls, and then looking at my wife like, ‘Oh, my girl needs to be just like these other girls, showing her body off, showing this, showing that,’” West told his wife, according to BuzzFeed.
“I didn’t realize that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone that’s married and loved, the father of what’s about to be four kids,” he continued. “A corset is a form of underwear. It’s hot. It’s like, it’s hot for who though?”
Kardashian protested, telling West that he was giving her “really bad anxiety.”
In February 2021, Kim filed for divorce from West after nearly 7 years together. A judge earlier this month declared the two officially single. Kim and Kanye share four children.

It was then that the Kardashian said the “SNL” star had several tattoos in her honor, but that the one on his chest was actually from him branding her name on there “like a scar.”
The reality star went Instagram official recently, finally confirming the two were actually a couple and putting to rest the months of speculation regarding whether they were or were not romantically involved following her divorce from West.
