<p><a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/kelly-clarkson-gets-emotional-after-henry-winkler-has-message-for-her-bullied-dyslexic-daughter" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kelly Clarkson</a> revealed she gets a bouquet of flowers from <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/taylor-swifts-latest-re-recorded-album-is-number-one-seller-in-2023" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Taylor Swif</a>t after every new &#8220;Taylor&#8217;s Version&#8221; drops and the new &#8220;1989&#8221; release was no exception for the &#8220;Shake It Off&#8221; <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/topic/taylor-swift" target="_blank" rel="noopener">hitmaker.</a></p>
<p>During an interview with <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/1389600/why-taylor-swift-sends-kelly-clarkson-flowers-after-every-re-recording" target="_blank" rel="noopener">E! News</a>, the 41-year-old pop singer and talk show host said Swift sent her flowers after the &#8220;Taylor&#8217;s Version&#8221; of her 2014 album &#8220;1989&#8221; came out and said it&#8217;s because Clarkson sent a tweet in 2019 suggesting Taylor re-record songs.</p>
<p>&#8220;She&#8217;s [Swift&#8217;s] so nice,&#8221; Clarkson told the outlet. &#8220;She did. She was like, &#8216;Every time I release something&#8217;—&#8217;cause she just did &#8216;1989.&#8217; I got that really cute cardigan, too.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;I love how kind she is though,&#8221; she added. &#8220;She&#8217;s a very smart businesswoman. So, she would have thought of that. But it just sucks when you see artists that you admire and you respect really wanting something and it&#8217;s special to them. You know if they&#8217;re going to find a loophole, you find a loophole. And she did it and literally is, like, the best-selling artist I feel like of all-time now.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s so cool to see a fanbase really get behind her in that too because it&#8217;s important,&#8221; Clarkson continued. &#8220;She&#8217;s known for being such an incredible songwriter and the soundtrack to a lot of people&#8217;s lives and that&#8217;s her life. So, you should have the option of owning that.&#8221;</p>
<p>In 2019, &#8220;The Kelly Clarkson Show&#8221; host saw how upset Swift was after Scooter Braun had acquired all of Swift&#8217;s master recordings as part of his purchase of Big Machine Records.</p>
<p>Clarkson suggested on X (Twitter at the time) that Swift should just re-record her songs.</p>
<p>&#8220;[taylorswift13] just a thought, [you] should go in &amp; re-record all the songs that [you] don&#8217;t own the masters on exactly how [you] did them but put brand new art &amp; some kind of incentive so fans will no longer buy the old versions,&#8221; Clarkson wrote. &#8220;I&#8217;d buy all of the new versions just to prove a point.&#8221;</p>

<p>The new &#8220;1989&#8221; marks the fourth album Swift has re-recorded. She only needs to re-record two more albums in order to own them all, her debut 2006 album titled &#8220;Taylor Swift&#8221; and &#8220;Reputation,&#8221; which came out in 2017.</p>
