Kelce Brothers Correct Record About Their Conversation After Super Bowl LVII
Brothers Jason and Travis Kelce wanted to correct the record about their conversation after the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-35 in Super Bowl LVII on Sunday.
During the Kelce brothers’ podcast “New Heights” on Wednesday, Eagles lineman Jason said he was “misquoted” in reports that claimed he told Travis, a tight end for the Chiefs, “f*** you, congratulations.”
“I was like, ‘Uh, I don’t remember that one,'” Travis commented about the reports. “I was at a loss for words (when the brothers saw each other on the field), and you didn’t really say much, but I know you didn’t say ‘f*** you.'”

“I didn’t say much because I wanted you to go celebrate with your team,” the Eagles player responded. “I knew that you were going to feel bad for me and I didn’t want that. I didn’t want that to be how you remembered that.”
“So, I just kind of made an emphasis to go hug you,” he added. “Tell you I love you, congratulations and go be with your teammates. I didn’t want to be the guy that was going to bring down that moment for you.”
The Eagles star also said he was a bit emotional when his team lost. But he said the waterworks started when he spotted his mom, Donna Kelce, who was there for both her boys on the world’s biggest stage.
“The moment I saw Mom is when I got really emotional, ’cause, man, it was so awesome,” Jason shared. Then, he paused to compose himself and finished his comment, saying, “…You know, she was on top of the world for a week.”
