Don&#8217;t worry, that&#8217;s not a question you have to answer just yet: Perry has promised to continue pushing her leftist politics on us all, even when it comes to her already-painfully dreadful music! 
Yes, that would be the woman with an affinity for <a href="http://static.idolator.com/uploads/2011/07/katy-perry-firework1.jpg">shooting fireworks</a>, among <a href="https://flavorwire.files.wordpress.com/2010/10/whipped-cream-boobs.jpg">other substances,</a> from her breasts. 
Aside from her massive (failed) efforts to get former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton elected in 2016, the Firework singer <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/08/politics/katy-perry-political-album/index.html?sr=twpol050817katy-perry-political-album0832PMStoryLink&amp;linkId=37357667">told </a>Entertainment Weekly that she has more political musical gems yet to be released, such as Bigger Than Me, which was apparently inspired by the past presidential election. The unreleased song adds to Perry&#8217;s already-released political hit <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/news/13387/make-it-stop-most-annoying-hollywood-elite-gets-amanda-prestigiacomo">Chained to the Rhythm</a>, another musical travesty. 
The singer even suggested her fifth album was filled with &#8220;purposeful pop,&#8221; back in February.

Perry has become increasingly political in recent days. During the 2016 election, the feminist <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/news/9495/avid-hillary-supporter-katy-perry-votes-naked-amanda-prestigiacomo">voted &#8220;naked&#8221; </a>to support Hillary in a sketch for Funny or Die (it was not the former), she headlined rallies for the former Secretary of State, dressed as the failed politician for Halloween, and even showed up at the DNC to sing. Following the election, Perry has <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/news/15390/painfully-annoiying-katy-perry-trump-traumatized-amanda-prestigiacomo">whined </a>to feminist Vogue magazine about the &#8220;trauma&#8221; she&#8217;s endured subsequent to Trump&#8217;s win and <a href="http://www.cnn.com/2017/05/08/politics/katy-perry-political-album/index.html?sr=twpol050817katy-perry-political-album0832PMStoryLink&amp;linkId=37357667">performed </a>Chained to the Rhythm at the Grammys in front of an image of the Constitution, which is odd coming from a progressive, whose policy prescriptions typically express disdain for the &#8220;outdated&#8221; document. 
Again, this is fantastic news, but only if the pop-star with a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/paul.j.watson.71/posts/10154687798731171">Che Guevara complex</a> continues to do super-credible things, such as shooting substances from her nipples. Otherwise, how will we take her super-important political guidance seriously?

Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell admitted that his department was &#8220;overwhelmed&#8221; by left-wing rioters in the city, and sparred with liberal council members urging McDonnell to illegally tip them off to incoming federal immigration raids.
McDonnell <a href="https://x.com/TheChiefNerd/status/1931919309229392192" target="_blank" rel="noopener">acknowledged</a> that his department faced significant risk from the rioters during a press conference on Sunday. “Tonight, we had individuals shooting commercial-grade fireworks at our officers. That can kill you,&#8221; he told reporters. &#8220;We are overwhelmed as far as the number of people out there engaged in this type of activity. &#8230; There is no limit to what they are doing to our officers.&#8221;

Further, on Tuesday, the chief told Los Angeles City Council members that he would absolutely not tip them off to federal raids to deport illegal immigrants.
“You’re asking me to warn you about an enforcement action being taken by another agency before it happens? We can’t do that,” McDonnell responded to Councilmember Imelda Padilla, the Los Angeles Times <a href="https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-06-10/l-a-city-councilmembers-spar-with-police-chief-over-immigration-protests">reported</a>.
The chief said such a tip-off would be obstruction of justice, adding, “That would be completely inappropriate and illegal.&#8221;
City Council President Marqueece Harris-Dawson also went after McDonnell, telling him it was wrong to suggest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) were LAPD “law enforcement partners.”
“If we know somebody is coming here to do warrant-less abductions of the residents of this city, those are not our partners,” Harris-Dawson said. “I don’t care what badge they have on or whose orders they’re under. They’re not our partners.”
Following the meeting, McDonnell emphasized that the LAPD needs to cooperate with the feds on several issues, even if the department doesn&#8217;t on immigration per sanctuary laws.
“All of the crimes we investigate potentially could be in partnership with [federal agencies],” he said. “It is a partnership, and without that partnership, we wouldn’t be able to go into the World Cup, the Olympics &#8230; that require that we work with federal, state and local partners.”
Soon after President Donald Trump was elected in 2024, McDonnell said his department was working with consulate offices for Mexico and other Central American countries to protect illegal immigrants from coming federal deportation raids.
Enforcement of immigration laws would be “undercutting our primary mission, which is to be able to build public trust to work with every member of all of our communities, to be able to have hope that people will come forward if they were a victim of crime, a witness to a crime,” McDonnell <a href="https://spectrumnews1.com/ca/southern-california/politics/2024/12/04/lapd-chief-says-he-will-work-to-protect-immigrants?utm_source=chatgpt.com" target="_blank" rel="noopener">told</a> the Associated Press at the time.
The chief also took heat from liberal council members for using rubber bullets and making dozens of arrests. Councilmember Hugo Soto-Martínez, for example, told McDonnell, &#8220;We have to be mindful of the tactics being used by some LAPD members that is adding to the escalation.”
“Just like a few protesters can take away from the messaging, the same thing can be said about LAPD. It overshadows the response,” he added.
Councilmember Eunisses Hernandez also accused LAPD officers of acting “out of line for the situation.”

LAPD Chief Admits Cops Were ‘Overwhelmed,’ Spars With Lib Council Members Over Riots, ICE

Arkansas has moved forward with banning the purchases of candy and soda with the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), commonly referred to as food stamps.
Republican Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders was one of the first governors in the nation to submit a waiver to the federal government, asking for approval to limit SNAP. This week, Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins approved the waiver.
“This approval sends a clear message: President Trump and his administration are tackling America’s chronic disease epidemic, and Arkansas stands with him in that fight,” Sanders said of the approval, as first <a href="https://www.dailysignal.com/2025/06/10/exclusive-arkansas-bans-junk-food-food-stamps/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reported</a> by The Daily Signal.
“I am incredibly grateful for Secretary Rollins’ quick approval of our waiver. Arkansas leads the nation in getting unhealthy, ultra-processed foods off food stamps and helping our most vulnerable citizens lead healthier lives,” she added.
Rollins has previously said she&#8217;s working closely with Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to advance the &#8220;Make America Healthy Again&#8221; movement. Kennedy, the figurehead of the MAHA movement, has called sugar &#8220;poison,&#8221; led the phasing out of petroleum-based food dyes, and encouraged states to limit SNAP.
Nebraska, another red state, has also been approved by the federal government to limit SNAP purchases to healthier options.
The Daily Wire spoke to Sanders earlier this month about Arkansas becoming a leading state in the MAHA movement. On SNAP limitations, Sanders said it only makes sense.
“It&#8217;s crazy to think that you can use food stamps to purchase soft drinks and candy, but not a hot rotisserie chicken,&#8221; she told The Daily Wire in a video interview. &#8220;The very definition of SNAP, if you look at the second word, it&#8217;s &#8216;nutrition.'&#8221; 
&#8220;There&#8217;s nothing nutritional about candy bars and Cokes,&#8221; she continued. &#8220;So making sure that we are actually helping the people who really need it, and help incentivize healthier choices is something we have to do.&#8221;
&#8220;The food stamp program is a $119 billion federally run program, but about $27 billion of that are spent on candy, soft drinks, and unhealthy desserts and snacks,&#8221; Sanders said. &#8220;So we are literally helping fund the epidemic crisis that we have going on of unhealthy lifestyles in our country, when we&#8217;re supposed to be helping these recipients of the food SNAP program.&#8221; 
&#8220;We can and we have to do a better job,&#8221; the Republican added. &#8220;I&#8217;m proud of the fact that Arkansas is again leading the way.&#8221;

MAHA: Another Republican State Bans Candy, Soda Purchases With Food Stamps

Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced on Monday that he’s gutting the panel that advises on vaccination safety and efficacy, arguing that it’s another step toward restoring public trust.
Kennedy, whose department has already made <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/cdc-stops-pushing-covid-shots-for-healthy-pregnant-women-children-common-sense">several moves</a> to <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/hhs-investing-500-million-to-develop-universal-vaccines?author=Amanda+Prestigiacomo&amp;category=News&amp;elementPosition=undefined&amp;row=0&amp;rowType=Vertical+List&amp;title=HHS+Investing+%24500+Million+To+Develop+Universal+Vaccines">shake up</a> vaccination research and recommendations, said he’s “retiring” all 17 members of the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices, known as ACIP.
“Today, we are taking a bold step in restoring public trust by totally reconstituting the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP),” RFK <a href="https://www.wsj.com/opinion/rfk-jr-hhs-moves-to-restore-public-trust-in-vaccines-45495112" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said</a> in an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal. “We are retiring the 17 current members of the committee, some of whom were last-minute appointees of the Biden administration.”
Kennedy said he had to remove these panel members or the Trump administration wouldn&#8217;t be able to appoint a majority of new members until 2028.
RFK Jr. suggested the panel effectively works as a rubber-stamp and is plagued with conflicts of interest.
ACIP, he highlighted, has never recommended against a vaccination it’s been asked to advise on, even vaccines that were later withdrawn for safety reasons. “It has failed to scrutinize vaccine products given to babies and pregnant women,” he wrote.

“To make matters worse, the groups that inform ACIP meet behind closed doors, violating the legal and ethical principle of transparency crucial to maintaining public trust,” RFK said.
Kennedy cited a 2000 investigation that found enforcement of ACIP conflict-of-interest rules were “weak to nonexistent.”
“Committee members regularly participated in deliberations and advocated products in which they had a financial stake,” he wrote. “The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) issued conflict-of-interest waivers to every committee member.”
Citing a 2009 HHS inspector general report, Kennedy added that not all committee members completed full conflict-of-interest forms, and of the ones who did, it was found that 97% of the forms had omissions. Additionally, the CDC – which is the agency ACIP passes along its recommendations to – “took no significant action to remedy the omissions.”
“The public must know that unbiased science guides the recommendations from our health agencies,” Kennedy said. “This will ensure the American people receive the safest vaccines possible.&#8221;

The LGBT content surrounds the JJ Byrne Playground, where families and children as young as toddlers play, according to images provided to The Daily Wire, and other images accessible via Google Maps. The art pieces will be displayed all summer long, until August 1.

Olympic gymnast Simone Biles has been the subject of much criticism online after she attacked women&#8217;s rights advocate and Outkick podcast host Riley Gaines for her physical appearance, apparently to show her support for transgender-identifying male athletes in female sports and spaces.

Simone Biles Wrecked Online For Attacking Riley Gaines’ Appearance To Boost ‘Trans’ Athletes

President Donald Trump on Friday night took numerous questions from the press about the rift with billionaire Elon Musk, who recently <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/elon-musk-goes-after-trump-over-epstein-files-time-to-drop-the-really-big-bomb" target="_blank" rel="noopener">attacked</a> Trump on his social media platform, X.
The president repeatedly said he hopes Musk&#8217;s company Tesla does well and praised Musk&#8217;s brainchild, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), but said he&#8217;s &#8220;not really interested&#8221; in working toward reconciliation.
&#8220;There are efforts &#8212; I&#8217;ve been asked about it,&#8221; Trump said of outsiders trying to get the pair back together. &#8220;But I&#8217;m not really interested in it. I&#8217;m really interested in the country and solving problems, including war problems in very far away lands.&#8221;
Trump also said he&#8217;ll look at potentially canceling government contracts with Musk&#8217;s companies, only if it&#8217;s &#8220;fair.&#8221;
&#8220;We’ll take a look at everything. He gets a lot of subsidy, so we&#8217;ll take a look at that — only if it’s fair for him, and for the country, I would certainly think about it, yeah. But it has to be fair,&#8221; the president said. “I hope he does well with Tesla. I just wish him well.&#8221;

Trump made a similar statement on Truth Social, <a href="https://www.teslarati.com/spacex-decommission-dragon-spacecraft-in-response-to-pres-trump-war-of-words-elon-musk/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">writing</a>, &#8220;The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!”
On reports of Musk&#8217;s alleged drug use, POTUS took to hitting the media. “I don’t want to comment on his drug use, I don&#8217;t know what his status is,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I read an article in The New York Times &#8212; I thought it was, frankly, it sounded very unfair to me.”
This past week, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Musk’s statements on Trump were a reaction to not getting what he wanted in the reconciliation bill.
“This is an unfortunate episode from Elon,” she said in a <a href="https://www.dailywire.com/news/white-house-responds-to-elon-musk-epstein-claims-an-unfortunate-episode-from-elon" target="_blank" rel="noopener">statement to The Daily Wire</a>, “who is unhappy with the One Big, Beautiful Bill because it does not include the policies he wanted.”
“The president is focused on passing this historic piece of legislation and making our country great again,” Leavitt added.
