<p>Actress and comedian <a href="http://www.dailywire.com/topic/kathy-griffin/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Kathy Griffin</a> took some serious blowback on Tuesday after she claimed that the only way to prevent &#8220;civil war&#8221; would be to vote Democrat in future elections.</p>
<p><a href="https://dailywire.com/news/kathy-griffin-whose-trump-severed-head-stunt-cost-her-cnn-gig-makes-tasteless-crack-about-deceased-ivana-trump/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Griffin</a> shared her thoughts in a tweet, claiming that only people who were in favor of such a conflict would vote for Republicans in November&#8217;s midterm elections.</p>
<p>&#8220;If you don&#8217;t want a Civil War, vote for Democrats in November,&#8221; she tweeted. &#8220;If you do want Civil War, vote Republican.&#8221;</p>

<p>Griffin&#8217;s most recent claim to fame was a photo in which she held up a prop made to look like the severed head of former President Donald Trump. That photo cost the &#8220;My Life on the D-List&#8221; actress her annual gig hosting CNN&#8217;s New Year&#8217;s Eve broadcast alongside longtime network anchor Anderson Cooper.</p>
<p>Critics appeared to be just as impressed with Griffin&#8217;s assertion of imminent civil war as they were with her staged Trump photo — and they responded en masse via Twitter.</p>
<p>&#8220;So you&#8217;re threatening civil war from the Left if you don&#8217;t get your way? I thought Biden just said WE were the violent ones &#8230;&#8221; Mrs. Massacre 2.0 (@missus_massacre) tweeted.</p>

<p>Jeremy Redfern <a href="https://twitter.com/JeremyRedfernFL/status/1567256941168033792" target="_blank" rel="noopener">commented</a>, &#8220;It wouldn’t be the first time the Democrats started a civil war.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;If you like high gas prices, vote for Democrats in November. If you do want to be energy independent, vote Republican,&#8221; Jillian Anderson took her <a href="https://twitter.com/Jillie_Alexis/status/1567302809325903872" target="_blank" rel="noopener">tweet</a> in a slightly different direction.</p>
