The Girl Scouts were not the only organization to issue a non-partisan tweet congratulating Amy Coney Barrett only to delete it after a woke mob descended upon their Twitter page. Apparently, the Kappa Delta sorority, of which Amy Coney Barrett was a member, also deleted their congratulatory post.
“To our sisters and others who were hurt by yesterday social media post or subsequent removal, we are deeply sorry,” the sorority said in a statement. “Our approach was disappointing and hurtful to many. We do not intend to enter into a political debate, take a stand on the supreme court nomination, caused division among our sisters, or alienate any of our members. We now understand that was the impact.”
“Earlier this year, we began an intentional journey for the betterment of our organization, with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion,” it continued. “Part of this process is recognizing we always need to have a more diverse group at all tables to make decisions in a more holistic, inclusive manner. Going forward, we will.”
“Our mission encourages members to be responsible, engaged citizens who act on issues that are important to them. Your voices help us recognize the impact of our communications and how we can do better moving forward thank you for holding us accountable,” it concluded.

The Girl Scouts of America caved into the pressure after a cadre of woke scolds excoriated them for daring to congratulate Justice Amy Coney Barrett on becoming the 5th woman on the Supreme Court.
“Congratulations Amy Coney Barrett on becoming the 5th woman appointed to the Supreme Court since its inception in 1789,” the Girl Scouts stated as they shared an image of the other women who served on the court, both Left and Right: Justices Elena Kagen and Sonia Sotomayor; former Justice Sandra Day O’Connor; and the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
For that, the woke mob came fast and fierce, demanding that the Girl Scouts remove the post at once.
“Girl Scouts, this tweet is really disappointing and won’t age well when access to safe abortion and the healthcare needs of millions of women and girls is gutted in this country because of Barrett’s addition to the court,” tweeted left-wing actress/activist Amber Tamblyn.

“What kind of patch does one earn for uplifting a woman who is the antithesis of justice?” tweeted Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA).

After enough backlash, the organization finally deleted the tweet and released a statement.
“Earlier today, we shared a post highlighting the five women who have been appointed to the Supreme Court. It was quickly viewed as a political and partisan statement which was not our intent and we have removed the post,” the organization. “Girl Scouts of the USA is a non-political, nonpartisan organization. We are neither red nor blue, but Girl Scout GREEN. We are here to lift up girls and women.”
Reporter Megyn Kelly and other media figures were forceful in their criticisms of the Girl Scouts.
“This is pathetic @girlscouts. It’s not “partisan” to generically congratulate the 5th woman ever to join the High Court. It’s patriotic. Taking your tweet down *is* partisan, however, and a real disappointment,” she tweeted.

As noted by Fox News, critics of the Girl Scouts’ decision were outraged over the hypocrisy, given that they previously engaged with former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in a non-partisan exchange.
“Why is it so important to have female political #leadership in the United States? @HillaryClinton explains,” the organization tweeted in 2013.
