Rapper-turned-MAGA-enthusiast Kanye West is heading to the White House to share a little of that dragon energy with President Turmp and his son-in-law Jared Kushner.
According to CNN, the famed musician “will have lunch with the President at the White House and meet with Kushner, according to White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders. The New York Times first reported news of the meeting.”
Reports indicate that West hopes to discuss criminal justice reform, specifically with regard to job opportunities for ex-convicts. The musician also wants to discuss ways to increase manufacturing jobs near his hometown of Chicago.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that other topics of conversation will focus on curbing gang violence, especially in West’s hometown of Chicago. Prison reform will also be on the agenda.
“West’s visit follows two visits by his wife Kim Kardashian West, who has met with Trump at the White House and successfully secured a presidential pardon for a woman who was serving a life sentence in prison over non-violent drug charges,” notes CNN.
Kanye West did meet with President Trump at Trump Tower in New York following the 2016 election. This will be his first trip to the White House during the president’s administration. The action follows months of West adopting the MAGA spirit, which culminated on “Saturday Night Live” recently where he delivered a pro-Trump speech on set, prompting boos from the cast and crew.
“They bullied me backstage,” West said at the time. “They said, ‘don’t go out there with that hat on.’ They bullied me backstage. They bullied me! And then they say I’m in a sunken place.”
Indeed, ever since Kanye West announced his “dragon energy” for President Trump, the Left has been insisting his mind resides somewhere in “the sunken place,” referring to a state of hypnosis from the hit movie “Get Out” where black people have their consciousness forced into a state of subservience by white liberals — a smear, obviously.
