KamalaHQ Jumps Shark With Post Claiming Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh Is A ‘Top Trump Operative’

The rapid response team for Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign stepped in it again on Tuesday — just over a week after even CNN was forced to slap @KamalaHQ with a brutal fact-check — when the account identified The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh as a “top Trump operative.”

Walsh may be many things — a best-selling children’s author, a renowned DEI expert, and a documentarian to name a few — but a Trump operative he is not. But still, KamalaHQ ran with a post “outing him” as such in addition to tying him to The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 — which they have repeatedly and dishonestly claimed is Trump’s second-term agenda.

“Top Trump operative, echoing Project 2025: Not only should the Department of Education be abolished, but the entire public school system should be abolished,” the post captioned a video clip of Walsh from his show.

Walsh responded, saying, “It’s true. Go to project2025.com to find out more about this dastardly plan” — but anyone who clicked the link he provided was sent to a site built to promote his latest film, “Am I Racist?” In August, Walsh attended the Democratic National Convention in his DEI expert disguise and passed out cards promoting his Project 2025 website that advertised “Am I Racist?” Walsh even got leftist journalist Don Lemon to hold up one of his Project 2025 cards at the DNC.

“It will be news to the Trump campaign that I’m one of their “operatives,” Walsh added in another post. “At least they’ve falsely labeled me a top operative, rather than just a regular operative. Finally getting some damned respect around here.”

Walsh’s latest film “Am I Racist?” is still in theaters and has made over $9 million at the box office in less than two weeks. It has earned a “verified hot” badge and is up to 73% on the Rotten Tomatoes “tomato meter,” and has an audience score of 98%.
