Justin Timberlake Arrested In The Hamptons For DWI: Report

Singer Justin Timberlake has been arrested for driving while intoxicated on Monday night in the Hamptons, according to a report from ABC News. 

ABC cited “a law enforcement official” source who said Timberlake was driving in Sag Harbor, New York, at the time of arrest. The 43-year-old recording artist is reportedly scheduled for an arraignment on Tuesday. Timberlake remained in custody on Tuesday morning, according to MSNBC.

A source told People that the singer was pulled over after having dinner at the American Hotel and was pulled over after leaving the establishment to drive to his friend’s house.

“Nobody was hurt,” the source told People. “He will be arraigned in about an hour.”

A Sag Harbor official confirmed that the charges Timberlake faces are DWI-related. People reported that he’s due back in court on July 26 for a hearing.

Timberlake is slated to perform in Chicago this weekend and at Madison Square Garden in New York City next week as part of his Forget Tomorrow tour, which began in April.

The singer shares two sons – Silas, 9 and Phineas, 3, with his wife Jessica Biel. He posted on Instagram Sunday about how the boys gave him his “biggest purpose.”

“I learn more about myself everyday just because you both chose me to be your Daddy,” Timberlake wrote. “I will always be there for you through your peaks and valleys… to lift you up and show you how high you can take this life and to pick you up when you fall. And, of course, to flood you with insufferable Dad-jokes all along the way. I love you both so much,” he wrote at the time.
