JUDICIAL WATCH: Robert Mueller Helped Cover Up Connections Between Saudis, 9/11 Terrorists

A report from Judicial Watch claims newly-filed court documents further damage the credibility of Russia Special Counsel Robert Mueller. According to the conservative watchdog group, FBI Director Mueller likely “worked to cover up the connection between a Florida Saudi family and the 9/11 terrorist attacks.”

“The documents reveal that Mueller was likely involved in publicly releasing deceptive official agency statements about a secret investigation of the Saudis, who lived in Sarasota, with ties to the hijackers,” reports Judicial Watch. A “secret FBI investigation” that was hidden from Congress was also allegedly uncovered.

“Under Mueller’s leadership, the FBI tried to discredit the story, publicly countering that agents found no connection between the Sarasota Saudi family and the 2001 terrorist plot,” says the report. But files from the FBI indicate that the opposite is true: “federal agents found ‘many connections’ between the family and ‘individuals associated with the terrorist attacks on 9/11/2001.'”

Two weeks before the 9/11 terrorist attack, the Saudi family in question abruptly left their Sarasota home, leaving behind seemingly all their belongings, including cars, furniture, and jewelry, news reports said.

The files were forcibly released after a Florida-based group sued under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

“Though the recently filed court documents reveal Mueller received a briefing about the Sarasota Saudi investigation, the FBI continued to publicly deny it existed and it appears that the lies were approved by Mueller,” writes the watchdog group. “Not surprisingly, he didn’t respond to questions about this new discovery emailed to his office by the news organization that uncovered it.”

Judicial Watch says such a development, which has been largely ignored by the mainstream media, “chips away at Mueller’s credibility as special counsel to investigate if Russia influenced the 2016 presidential election.”

Republicans have highlighted cause for concern over Mueller’s allegedly “objective” investigation into the Trump campaign’s supposed “collusion” with Russia. The FBI director’s team has been shown to be overwhelming pro-Democrat. Text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and his mistress and co-worker, FBI lawyer Lisa Page, have elevated the cause for concern. Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro reports:

That text is dated August 15, 2016. Strzok texted Page, “I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in [deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe’s] office that there’s no way he gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40…”

This looks an awful lot like motivation for launching an investigation into Trump in order to sink Trump as a hedge against Trump’s victory. The FBI’s investigation into Russian governmental interference in the election began in July 2016, just weeks before Strzok’s text message. And that means that there is now more of a smoking gun of FBI corruption against Trump than there is of Trump colluding with Russia.

On Tuesday, we learned that five months of text messages from Strzok and Page had been “lost,” something the FBI says is the result of a glitch. Further, developments over the FISA warrant which might have triggered the investigation are raising eyebrows.
